Percy Jackson Headcanons and AUs

When I first made this account in 2014-2015 it was to get over a break up with my ex. It was hard and extremely difficult since he was my first boyfriend and I was in college. I needed something to do to keep my mind off of him and help me refocus in life. I was reading Percy Jackson around that time and I use to write in high school. I thought I could write again.

So I did. I wrote a lot in the first two years I started this. It made me feel good then worn out but still good. Somehow I was able to keep up with writing and finishing up my bachelor's and master degrees. Writing was just a good outlet and having a lot of people enjoy my headcanons or aus about characters I've grown to love so much was amazing.

Then I finished college and got my first teaching job! Yay! That's when I really slowed down. Right before I started my new job I met my then boyfriend and everything in life started to feel like it was going up...except I was doing long distance. Fine, but I had a little bit of time to write between work and FaceTime. After that first year of work, I was getting more burnt out from work. I wanted to come home, not think, talk to my boyfriend, and sleep. Teaching takes so much out of you. That's why I stopped really. Not because of my then boyfriend, who is now husband.

I wish I could write again but everyday I just want to come home and disassociate for hours or see my friends who help me with my mental health. Hopefully one day I can come back, but right now that's not possible.

Thank you to everyone who reads my stuff, past and currently. Thank you to the people who I made connections with. And just thank you to a community that was an outlet during a rough time I went through and had to figure out on my own because first break ups are hard.

Just thank you. Hopefully one day I will be back!

1) I have posted on my blog multiple times that I don't do smut. Please don't ask me because

2) An eleven year old shouldn't be asking for smut because its basically sex.

3) Now I am in an extremely uncomfortable position now that I know how old the person requested the smut is. Which is part of the reason why I stopped writing it.

“Jason, you’re over reacting!” Piper told him after closing the front door to their apartment.

“Me, over reacting?! I saw you kissing a girl!” Jason stated. “Are you cheating on me?” His arms became crossed.

Piper looked appauled. “I wouldn’t cheat on you! I think it’s rude for you to state such a thing before getting the whole story!” 

“Then what’s the whole story?” Jason asked.

She took a deep breath. “Well, I was going to tell you that I got the role of Maureen from RENT in the local theater. When you barged in, I was practicing lines with the girl casted as Joanne. We have to kiss in the show and we both wanted to get over the fact that we haven’t kissed a girl before. Then you barged in and caused a scene.” 

“I am happy that you got the role but think of it in my eyes. What if I was into theater and had to kiss a girl and didn’t tell you that I got a role. It seems very suspicious to me.” 

Piper sighed. “I’m sorry. We ran long and I wanted to tell you the news in person. I knew you were at work and I didn’t want to disturb you.” 

Jason went over and hugged her. “So, how should we celebrate tonight? Take-out?” 

Piper looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn’t believe her work would be in a fashion show and she was going to walk in one of her designs. Taking a deep breath, she went to check on the models. 

Her team was making last minute alterations to make sure everything fit. She just went by to make any last minute decisions. Her nerves were finally starting to relax until one of her team members came running up to her.

“Ms. McLean, there’s an issue on one of the male model’s outfit.”

Piper followed her team member to a make shift dressing room. She pulled back the curtain and saw a six foot male, wearing the fit back pants that she designed and shirtless. The muscles on his back tensed once he heard the curtain rip open. 

The model turned and his face relaxed a bit once he saw Piper there. His blue eyes shined behind his glasses. “You must be the designer, Piper McLean.” 

“Yes. Uh, so what is the problem with your top?” Piper asked, focusing on her work. Her stomach was already tighening from the thought of presenting her work. 

“Oh, uh, I put it on and the entire back just ripped.” He explained. “I think measurements were off.”

Piper grabbed a measuring tape and started to remeasure the model. “Has this ever happened before?” 

“A couple of times but not as big as this one.” He replied. “Usually designers just make me wear a jacket so the rip is covered, but I didn’t think a jacket would cover this rip.” 

“Well, now I wish it did so I wasn’t panicking right now.” Piper admitted. “I don’t know if I have a shirt that could match the look I originally gave you.” 

Her brain was reeling with ideas to make sure this model walked down the runway in a half an hour. Her eyes glanced down at his pants and she finally thought of a top to go with it. She went to the rack and started looking through the extra shirts. She picked out a light blue collared shirt with a light silver vertical lines. 

“This should fit and work.” Piper said, handing the shirt over. 

The model put the shirt on and buttoned it up. It fit him almost perfectly. Piper went over and rolled up his sleeves. 

“There we go. Crisis averted.” Piper said. “Good luck out there-”

“Jason.” He told her. “And thanks. I bet your line will be a hit.”
