-The Denali siblings are in no way a conservative coven. They’re very open about sex and their sexuality. 

-Unlike the Cullens, in which, they usually get dressed behind closed doors or Edward runs back into his room with a towel around him yelling “don’t look!!!”. The Denali don’t really care. They’re open about these kinds of things and it just doesn’t bother them. 

-When Carmen and Eleazar first came to them, it took them a bit of getting used to but now they don’t care either. When Kate first walked down the stairs topless asking Tanya where she put her favourite bra, for sure Eleazar was like “*cough* uhmmm”, and Tanya was just like “yeah this happens all the time”. Now it doesn’t even faze the man. They’re his sisters now and he doesn’t think of them like that . A body is a body, except his mate’s obvs, that women is the world to him. 

-The sisters roughhouse just as much as the Cullen boys, if not more. Catch them beating Eleazar’s ass from time to time too. Carmen goes hard in mock fighting (who knew?). 

-If they’re going hunting and feel too lazy to get dressed you can bet your ass that they’ll go hunting in nothing but underwear or even nothing at all. Who cares? not the animals that’s for sure.-And then after hunting, going for a swim in the icy Alaskan waters for fun and to wash the blood off? Heck yeah. 

- When they fight, they never always stick together with one or the other. You know how some families have siblings that they’ll always side with each other against the other sibling(s)? Not this coven. All is a fair fight if your argument is dumb to begin with. 

- Their deep conversations definitely include things like “what happens if robots ever take over the world?” and “how would we, vampires, survive in a zombie apocalypse” or even “is the earth flat”, in which Eleazar always gives the more logical side. - Out of all of them, Tanya and Kate are more open minded about anything and everything. Irina and Eleazar are more logical, to the point thinkers and take a bit to open up to new ideas. Carmen is smack bang in the middle of the lot. 

- the family already love rose and welcome her into the coven quickly

- the sisters all love spending time together as though they were still teenagers and will often paint each other’s nails/do each other’s hair

- excited to have new company, the sisters are full of adoration and shower her with compliments

- mostly about her hair

- rose and kate like to go for walks around towns late at night, they work as a pair to take down strange men and dangerous people

- they don’t drink their blood, but the two of them together kick some ass

- tanya is like the big sister rosalie never knew she needed, as they spend more time together tanya becomes more open in confiding i’m rosalie and telling her the stories and history of the denali coven

- while all the denalis are welcoming, rosalie couldn’t help but notice how carmen had been more reserved. she was less likely to participate in the girls activities.

- rosalie couldn’t understand why carmen didn’t want to be around her as much, and this frustrated her

- she turned bitter towards carmen, who is hurt by this, but is too polite to add to the tension

- similarly to the ‘fight’ in breaking dawn, the family find themselves faced in another tense stand-off with another, more dangerous coven

- during which carmen is pushed aside and falls to the ground, another vampire from a different clan lunges towards her

- rosalie runs to her, pulling her up and out of the way, taking her place and, luckily, destroying the attacker instantly

- rose can’t help but stand in front of her, blocking her from harm for the remainder of the battle

- the coven escape without harm and later that evening carmen pulls rosalie aside

- ‘why did you do that for me?”

- ‘do what?’

- ‘you risked yourself to save me’

- rosalie just smiles

- they stop ignoring each other after that

- although carmen isn’t as loud and bubbly as the other sisters, she and rosalie communicate in warm smiles

- and shoulder/knee touches

- they constantly check up on each other, quietly

- when rosalie isn’t spending time with her new sisters she’s sat alone with carmen

- either talking softly about their pasts and their experiences

- or even just silently reading books, enjoying each others company
