Its a LOT of nicknames lmao but at the end of the day It is just word vomit im not even kidding. 💀 I used it as a replacement name for a wolf looking dog in a Daydream and it stuck for all of the times I thought of my future dog.

"Bon bon" candy in French, "blondy" the blonde fur, "blaw" blaw blaw as in making fun of a howling dog. (They fit so well for blawnit it was a name set in stone for her)

Also recently found out it is a different spelling of an Irish name meaning blossom or little flower. 🥹 And it sounds the same. ("Bláthnaid" Yup traditional irish is realy hard to pronounce) So if I want to i can pretend she has an Irish name just spelled weird just like me. 🤣

- You don't have to completely rewrite his own character for your white oc and readers. He still hates the settlers, don't take that from him. That's sooooo weird. Again im white, just say you are not good at accepting/acknowledging the challenges of interracial couples and fear the white setters caused because of their racism, genocides, and destruction. Btw you're writing about a completely different native American man, like at that point what are you after. It comes off as a Fetish or something. 😭 If you don't want to deal with these topics then don't. Maybe I just personally love character accuracy OR maybe I just see the importance of historical events and emotions in oppressed people. Not even that if you look at the smaller details as in an individual life, I like little puma for how he is after being shaped by his life, thats the little puma we know and if you like HIM, than you can't just get rid of that.

I can't help but wonder how people apliy this logic in real life...

- I have seen people attack (with racist slurs) poc because they ask for more inclusive content. I just need to tell you that there is 0 possible chance of this fictional character even tolerating you. And I love that. 🤣

- X readers can be ambiguous. Even not ambiguously id love that. It can be a non-white woman. There are a TON of opportunities to add other poc, not even just Native Americans. There are extremely important characters who are African American).

I myself love him but like...why do you love this character if you don't even want to write this character…it seems all you do is change what makes him himself?
