it started out as just a job when mr. tipton told mr. moseby he was responsible for london, but it became much more than that

he taught her how to drive, gave her advice over her first love/heartbreak, attended one of her stage performances when her father was to busy to come, was there through every hardship she faced, stood up for her when no one else would, tended to her every need, and did whatever was necessary to keep her happy but safe

he became the real father figure in her life and london made sure to let him know how much she appreciated him when she said, “thank you for taking care of me all these years” in the graduation finale
