The Miss E Link

So… There has been so many amazing and beautiful people who have posted their pictures for Blackout. I wanted to draw/paint a ton of them, but managed to only get this one done so far. I only had a couple of hours or so to work on it, but I’m still pretty happy with how it came out. I’ll probably try to do some more later.

Zepsi Kola of “Kola Kompany” presents her newest specialty mixed drinks products…

"Races of Azeroth Drinks" … or RAD.

The first revealed drink represents the Orcs! This goes out to you, so cheers… and blood and honor! 

"Spiked Honor" : Green Spirits (such as Absinthe), Fizpop Cherry Soda, Cherry Grenadine, a Cherry spiked with your own plastic battleaxe pick!

(( Wooo! Done! I had this idea first in game, that Zepsi, who owns a soda and treat business called Kola Kompany would start making specialty drinks that would represent each race. She uses her soda pop brand “Fizpop” in each one. - So these drinks are IC.

I’ve never drawn/painted a drink, condensation, etc before… So I’m pretty pleased how this came out. :3 It’s all done by me, except I did use an overlay texture for the metal. 

Also, cause I’m lazy, there’s totally a handle on the opposite side of what you can see… So it’s easy to hold! :D … *imagination*

Oh, note… I don’t drink alcohol in real life, so I know nothing of it. I have no clue if this and future drink combinations are good or not, but I’m just basically making things up. >.> FER FUNSES!

I’ll try to regularly come up with the other races’ drinks. First for the Horde, since… Zepsi is a Goblin. So stay tuned to see what comes out next! :D 

I tried to do this quickly, so it’s sort of… messy and sketchy, nothing fancy. But I wanted to try and make this for a friend to hopefully cheer him up some.

Art by me for the fan art contest for the new movie Big Eyes.

Found out about the contest only 2-3 days ago, so been stressing to try to get it done. I’m pleased enough with it, hopefully others will like it too.

My art summary thingy for 2014. I realized I really didn’t draw too much this year… Not as much as I could/should have at least. There were multiple good ones one some months, so not all of my good pieces are shown here. Though overall, there wasn’t too much to choose from.

So… I’m not going to be able to finish the art piece in time for the deadline. I don’t really want to stress myself out further by working nonstop and then freaking out and getting upset with myself when the deadline hits and I’m still not done.

However, I’m not going to entirely “give up.” I’ll still work on the piece and finish it, just… not rush it and stress, get upset over it, and take my time.

I wish I knew about the contest sooner, I only found out a couple of days ago. I wouldn’t have won anything, I’m not good enough compared to a lot of the other artists who submitted, but it would have been nice to at least enter.

Perhaps next contest I’ll try again, if there is one.

Sketches/WIP Art

Okay… So, these are definitely not done. Just rough sketches and some color. I’ll try to finish these within the next few days, along with adding some outfit designs.

I saw a bunch of people making their own kind of Arakkoa, so I wanted to try some “character design” stuff myself.

I don’t know if anyone has done this bird yet, I hope not. >.> I wanted to try and draw an Arakkoa Peacock. 

The females would most likely be hardy/bold and would be the warriors, defenders, etc. While the males would be much more flamboyant, showy, extravagant, etc and would probably be mages, ritualists, or priests. Something along those lines.

So… I’m posting this very late… I should have been in bed hours ago. But I realized: “Durrr, I haven’t drawn Zepsi in awhile” and was stupid and stayed up.

I dunno how many people are up, being almost 3am EST. So I’ll reblog this sketch again sometime tomorrow… when it’s much earlier. 

So this isn’t anything too fancy… just tried to do a quickish sketch thingy of my Goblin, Zepsi Kola. May try work on it more later and add color and what not. We’ll see.
