We got asked if this is cute and okay. I can very happily say yes, this is stupid cute and those are happy porcupine noises.

One of my favorite things about doing zoo work was all the noises you never realize the animals make when they’re excited or interested in a new thing. Coatimundis squeak and snuffle, and giant porcupines make that sound.

Lol what the fuck is it like to have ‘self-worth’ ? Like are you telling me people with lots of self-esteem DON’T catch themselves in the mirror and do a double take to make sure that’s really how fat and ugly they are???

I don't have a lot of 'good' days. Instead I find that I have little moments throughout the day that make it 'better' or 'tolerable'. Sometimes, that's all I can ask for.

I used to have passion in my life. I used to wake up every morning knowing I needed to work hard to get what I wanted. And for several years, I did. I was obsessed with my goal and the path it was leading me down. I was too focused on it that I couldn’t see that the road led to a dead end.

Currently I’m just sort of meandering. Not really sure where to go. In giving myself the freedom to explore opportunities, I feel I’ve done more damage than good. I’m indecisive and I should have known better than to let myself choose.

But here we are, another year almost gone by and nothing to show for my time. I didn’t finish my degree, I didn’t get another job, and I’ve distanced myself not only physically but emotionally from family and friends. I’m drifting. Just hoping something comes my way instead of seeking it out, because truth is, I have no idea what I’m supposed to be seeking in the first place.

If you were born knowing what you wanted to do with your life, good for you. I’m jealous, honestly because you’re the lucky ones. On the other hand, the rest of us...well, lets just say, this is why we’ll never amount to much. Jack of all trades, master of none.
