Chasing Down My Daemon

It seriously weird-ed me out as I came around the corner.

It depicts Dante's 7 Circles of Hell. It was suggested that I go by my freind and I climbed more than 450 tiny stone steps to get to it, but it was totally worth in.

I just loved wandering through Florence and exploring all the weird little streets and the wonderful little shops. Just so much fun.

Another beautiful Duomo in Rome. This one is in fact a Duomo. Day light streams through the big square windows around the base and the curricular glass at the top.  Beautiful god like paintings surround the dome.

Standing right underneath the painting you can see the illusion. but the details are just... stunning. 

The painting fills an entire wall in the gallery, in the same room as the Mona Lisa. It is absolutely monstrous. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the piece or the artist, but it is beautiful.

The magnificently decorated interior of the building was painted from floorboards to ceiling bolsters. Just stunning.

Beautiful structure. Great for playing with perspectives.

The gargoyles on the Notre Dame Cathedral. One of my very favorite parts of Paris. Their little faces stick out from all over the building snaring and staring at invisible things everywhere.

The statues standing guard above the Notre Dame Cathedral doors. They almost looks like they are having little conversations amongst  each other as they stand there, watching the people line up below. 

Lets start at the very beginning :) 

An art instillation depicting a man 'walking the wall'. The building it was placed in front of was one of the largest buildings in Berlin when the Berlin Wall was built and was a symbol of hope during the time of strife.

One of my favourite pieces of art that I discovered in Berlin.

Chairs stacked outside of a restaurant in Berlin.

The Berlin Walls cobble stone shadow, stretching through an intersection. The wall can be traced through the entire city by this double cobble stone line.

A lot of European restaurants have a similar collection of condiments on their tables. I thought this particular set up was beautiful.

Some of the Graffiti Art in Berlin. They have constructed concrete canvases to resemble pieces of the wall. They can be found all over the city painted with beautiful and colourful art work.
