For a slightly better Tumblr Experienceβ’ for y'all, I'm gonna summarize what my blog is, and what my blog isn't, for my own sake and for those stumbling across it in the wild. If you like my vibes, feel free to send me a DM to chat! I'd love to meet people on here again. I'll be trying to update this post as time passes to always reflect the character of this blog.
I'm Lazarus, previously known as Lazy, always known as Laz. I'm deeply into crunchy, realistic worldbuilding, especially in the realms of anthropology and politics. I'm a Political Science major, with an Associates in the field, because I want to do campaign management for someone who shows promise of bringing actual change (in favor of the center-left), because if we're all resigned to our fates nobody fights back. I'm Texan (yeehaw) and I'm single because my standards are too high. I used to do a lot of RP back in the day, but I'm rusty and my standards are pretty damn high for that too. This blog's backlog is from years back, but I've returned from Reddit and decided to maintain the same blog despite the inevitable cringe back there.
First and foremost, the question of what my blog IS: - A place for me to spam my latest developments in my myriad of settings I've been working on, new and old. - A place for me to reblog worldbuilding stuff or art that I think is neat. - A place for me to occasionally reblog or repost good (subjective) memes. - A place for me to occasionally reblog or post furry art. -A place for me to occasionally reblog political posts. Before anyone asks, my political lean is generally left, but it likely doesn't match the general trends here. Pragmatism is my foundation first and foremost. As for what my blog ISN'T: - A place for NSFW content. I'm certainly not a prude, but I'm gonna try to avoid being horny on main at all costs. This is more of a warning for myself than for you, though I will probably avoid blogs that are sufficiently NSFW. (Edit: I forgot how much this platform encourages being horny on main. My stance here may change in the future but I'm not looking to alienate potential viewers for now.) - A place for negativity. Real life has plenty of negativity, and I don't want to see or share it online, regardless of the topic in question. - A place for deep discussion of identity or mental illness. I don't know how much of that there is nowadays, but it's the main reason I left Tumblr before. I need to keep conversation light, or it'll drag me down. While I deeply appreciate honesty, I'd also honestly rather not hear about kins, tulpas, etc. anymore. Don't introduce me to them. - Fandom hell. Back in the day I was deep in a few fandoms, but I don't really do that sort of thing anymore. Aside from occasional art and memes from more popular stuff I used to be into, don't expect me to suddenly acquire a blorbo from a 90s cartoon.
Iβm also on discord @_lazarus_ if ya want to connect up. Iβm also more willing to discuss NSFW topics there than here, but be warned, my interests are uncommon yet limited in that respect.
