Amor et melle et felle est fecundissimus…

I wanted to get up and do my hair and makeup today, put on a cute outfit and feel cute, but instead I… made lasagna? 🤣 My son woke up around midnight and stayed up until nearly 5AM, I was awake with him, exhausted. And then my alarm started going off at 6-something so I could get up and cook. So I made the lasagna, took my time with it. Popped it in the oven, low and slow. Pulled out this outfit (Daddddy Chris Redfield on my shirt 🥵). Showered and got dressed, popped on my tiara. My son was showered and dressed, too. Since this week he has no school, he’s been coming to therapy with me. We went together today, and everyone at therapy LOVED it. Made my heart feel full. No cake today. Haven’t had cake for my birthday in probably ten years, honestly. (My family tends to celebrate each other, I’m not in that circle of celebration.) And being my son is six (turning seven this year) and level 3 autistic, he’s not going to urge me to get a cake for myself. 😂 My problem is that he also has gone his whole life not seeing anyone sing or celebrate me. His Father never celebrating me on Mother’s Day, etc. I don’t want him to learn that, I want to teach him the exact opposite of that. I want to show him healthy love and care. Anyway….. it’s official! 36 successful rotations around the Sun. A tip of the hat to the Universe for surviving me so long. Another day of therapy tomorrow with Jack by my side. Say a prayer for me, y’all. Struggling with a lot of things stressing me out mentally, physically, financially, but trying to stay afloat and persevere.
