While #eating with a #friend I noticed a woman coming into the #restaurant. She kinda looked like a #gypsy w/ her #hair covered by long scarves. She had a tiny cart w/ her (also covered w/ scarves) that she kept close beside her as she prepared to dine alone. πI felt an urge that I should pay for her meal, so I asked the waiter to give me her check. πBut when I saw it was only for $6 I told the waiter to go tell the woman "an #anonymous patron would like to pay for her meal and to order whatever she wants." The waiter went back π and as he left her table I saw the woman taking off her #glasses and starting to cry. Moments later the waiter appeared to me holding this #bundle of sage πΏβ¨ He said the woman told him she makes them, and to give it to the person who'd offered her a meal. πI've always wanted some #sage because I heard that burning it in your #home increases #PositiveEnergy flow. π―Though I felt happy about my new #gift, I still felt an urge to do something for this woman so I dragged my friend and went off in search of some #cash. πMy friends are pretty much used to me doing stuff like this, but they still enjoy it Thank God! I withdrew $100 from a nearby #ATM πΈ and returned to the woman, πsage in hand, and told her that I was the #anonymous patron, but I felt something so strongly about her that I wanted to give her something more. She couldn't see the #money π°and I didn't tell her how much was tightly bundled in my hand, but as I sat beside her she collapsed her head on my shoulder and cried. She said she had been having a rough time recently, but was trying to stay positive and keep going. πI just held on to her for a while and told her she was doing her best, and that I was happy to have met her. I also told her how much I loved the sage and had been wanting some for ages. She smiled πβ¨ We talked for a little bit longer, and when the moment was right I said #goodbye to the woman, sending her all of my positive vibes. In a way, the #appearance of that woman had reminded me to be as #gentle w/ myself as I had been with her. For we are all doing our best. A simple #message that never gets old. ππ #Love
