The community told Bungie what would bring back old players and keep those there as well as what would draw in new players.

And Bungie completely screwed it up!

Will I stop playing?

HELL NO.

As long as those servers are up and running, I will be in D1 and D2.

But I am so pissed right now.

That all being said: I am with so many others here. WE ARE DESTINY. Our love of the characters and the world doesn't end at the game. Never did. We carried it past that long ago with discussions, fanart and fanfic, cosplay, online stores, websites, you name it. And will continue to do so.

So, yeah. Pissed. And a part of me will keep a little bit of hope that MAYBE at some point in the future, there will be more. Maybe someone who actually knows how to run a studio and listen to their players will come along and do it right. I always hold on to that little piece.

But, whether that moment comes along or not, *raises a glass*: Here's to the best damn game I ever played. Even with all its flaws. To the best damn characters I ever got to know. One very special one in particular that is now and will always be right here and still posted about - annoyingly so. And to the best damn friends I ever made who became family.

And, just incase you aren't yet teary-eyed, I'll leave you with some very heartbreaking but beautifully true words from Cayde:
