Mr. Portico and Ms. Nott, 

I am incredibly thankful to Mr. Ashwinder for sending me you two for this rotation. With this bombing business in Chelsea my ward has become a bit chaotic of late, and my staff stretched rather thin, so I can assure you your assistance in whatever parameters that may come in is highly appreciated. 

As for what you'll be doing with us, that will be a variety of things including but not limited to; helping healers patch up victims, aiding the hospital in trying to identify d.o.a victims as well as their cause of death, and treating victims both on scene and here at the ward. What you'll be doing first will be joining the healers in Chelsea, helping the wounded in the field medic tents that have been set up in the vicinity. Normally the Department of Magical Law Enforcement's team of field medics would care for those particular victims, but due to the vast number they are in need of assistance. 

In terms of how you'll be graded, I would like each of you to keep a log of what you did each day. Write down the patients you saw, their degree of injuries, anything of note. I'll also be observing you myself and taking notes on how well you are progressing through your internship. 

You can meet me and the rest of my healers-in-training tomorrow morning at seven at the blue field medic tent. I will be holding a quick run down of what you'll each need to do before sending you all off. Make sure to bring your passcards, as you will not be able to get in without them. 

Miss Greenwell and Mx. Valdin, 

I'm a busy man during a very busy time for my department, so let's cut the welcomes and get right to it: you both are assigned to clean up crew duty for the Chelsea case. With this business with the New Blood Order bombing, I got my guys spread far and thin and I don't have the kind of manpower to send out well qualified employees to be glorified street sweepers. But you two, on the other hand, are perfect for the job. 

Due to the unknown nature of these bombs, neither of you will be allowed to use magic. For all we know there are still a few floating around and one good scouring charm could blow us all to kingdom come. Upon your arrival to the scene you'll be given muggle grade cleaning items such as gloves, brooms, facial masks, and bin bags. For the most part you'll be cleaning up rubble, but should you happen upon anything that looks close to evidence take it to one of the aurors working security.

I'll be too busy at the Ministry to be watching either of you, so you'll be unsupervised for the most part. However, if I here one bad word about either of you two while representing my department, you'll be out of here so fast they'll think Vanishing Sickness has come to London again.

You will be suspected to report to duty at 8a.m tomorrow, remember to wear your muggle garb.

Mr. Emerson, Mr. Locke, and Mr. Augustin, 

As I'm sure you all have already been made aware of, I will be your supervisor for your new rotation. As I do with all my interns, I am going to first give you a warning before I debrief you on your assignment: this internship spot is not "easy". You will be working under me just as an auror-in-training would, and I will hold you to the same exact expectations. That means showing up for work on time, keeping the usual ten hour shifts of an auror-in-training, being respectful to your superiors, and handling cases with the sensitivity they deserve. There are serious consequences if you mess up on this job, and it is my duty to ensure you are all prepared for what may come your way.

If you do not think you'll be able to handle the work load or the hours, then I will relieve you of your intern position with me and you can get a new one. If you do think you are able to handle it, then I can guarantee you you will walk away from this internship with a wealth of knowledge on life as an auror, and whether or not you'd like to pursue such a career path. 

As for your assignment, you will be working under me as I investigate the recent bombing in Chelsea. You will aid me in conducting interviews, following leads, and various other duties as the investigation continues. I will be evaluating you on your professionalism, attentiveness to the job, and team work skills. What many who wish to enter this field don't know is willingness to work well with others can make or break an auror's career. You don't climb the ladder in this field by shutting yourself out from everyone else on your team. Learn this early on and you will do well here. 

You will report to my office in the Ministry at 6:00 a.m. sharp tomorrow morning. After that we will then head on out to the bomb site to conduct witness interviews. Dress accordingly, and bring your NoteBooks. 

Mr. Ryan, 

My name is Agatha Pritchard, but do feel free to call me Agatha, or Aggie if you like. With the recent intake of victims from the incident in Chelsea, we'll be quite busy with getting some comfort tea throughout the hospital. I'll take care of deliveries to the scene itself, but it'd be much appreciative if you could help deliver the orders around the various wards in the hospital. 

I've taken the liberty of listing out what belongs to whom and where you may find them, so it shouldn't be too tricky of a job. Every morning, afternoon and evening we do three rounds of deliveries throughout the hospital, and your assistance would be most helpful. 

I understand I only have you for a few days, as Mr. Ashwinder mentioned, but I'll be happy to have you for as long as I have.

First things first, I don't like having interns. There I said it, I don't like playing baby sitter to you lot. You don't got the training to be of any actual help, and you ask more questions than a house elf in a whore house. BUT, apparently taking you lot under my big shiny wings looks good to ol' Ira Cromwell, and if I want to make Head Auror by the time I'm thirty-five, then I'm just gonna have to suck it up and do it.

Anyway, so I'm sure you've all heard about the incident in Chelsea, bomb went off killed a few folks, major news right now. Well that's not your case. I've been itchin' to get my hands on anything New Blood Order related too, but oh no some wise ass needed to go startin' a fuckin' werewolf fighting ring. So looks like we're all stuck together, I need to kiss ass to the boss man, you need a nice looking rotation spot on your resumes, and the auror office is spread so thin the annoying rainbow shitting redhead at Ministry Munchies will probably get called in next. But that's auror work for ya. 

Back to the fight ring case- and let's get this straight right now, this is my case. Not our's, mine. If shit hits the fan, it's my ass on the line not your's. Though I'll definitely make sure some shit comes your way too. You two are my assistants for lack of a better term. You'll take notes, follow me around all day, hell make me tea when I ask. And if you do well I might just let you ask me some questions, maybe.

My grading scale is easy, I don't kick you out of your spot before the two weeks is up then you're golden. I run by a strict rule of one fuck up then you're out, I ain't here to baby you and I ain't here to get fired over your asses either. You both can meet me in my office at 8a.m tomorrow morning, I got a couple CIs of mine I wanna track down and see if I can make 'em sing a little for us.

Siblings Pratchett,

As I'm sure you're more than aware, there's been quite the incident in Chelsea this weekend, and we've a small task to accomplish. 

One of the deceased victims left behind a small child that escaped the scene rather unscathed, miraculously. The severity of the impact the bomb had on the individual was extreme, and we can't even appropriately identify the father. 

Here is what we know: 

The child speaks in third person, and even refers to themselves only by their first name. 

They mention their father, but not by name. No indication of a second parent is given. 

They give no indication of knowing their last name, or where they live, etc. 

They're approximately three or four years old, judging by our diagnostic spells.

It seems they're not quite aware of the concept of death, and we don't know if they're aware of what's happened.

Nobody from the neighborhood recognizes the child. 

I need you to help glean some information from the child by visiting daily and spending some time with them. We hope that the company of some younger individuals will be able to befriend them, and possibly gather as much information as you can to help identify the child. Attached is the address for the foster home where they're staying. Please take some care and sensitivity when interacting with the child. 

I expect you bright and early, we have a lot of work to do. Our ultimate goal is to identify the child, and track down any possible relatives.

Morning, Gen Reynolds, here. Good to have a couple interns on hand, the whole incident in Chelsea has rather put the Ministry into a whirlwind of activity, and of course, we're being called into take a look at the explosives used. 

From the 'dud' that was retrieved from the scene, we know that they're spherical in shape, and judging by some of the debris from the explosion sites, I hypothesize that once we manage to crack it open, we'll find that there are a manner of both magical and muggle components at work. 

Our task is to figure out how these bombs work, and what makes them work. Muggle and magical technology should not be able to work together in conjunction like this, and we're going to get to the bottom of however they made this work. I suspect that some sort of ward magic may be at work, but we can't quite be sure. 

We also need to identify the components used in the explosives, and hopefully with enough finesse and cleverness we'll be able to track down where they came from. 

Ideally we should also be able to discover how to dismantle an active version of these bombs, and hopefully reconstruct or build some working replicas to test our theories on. This, of course, depends on the identification of the components, and whether or not we can lawfully obtain such materials. 

I look forward to meeting you. Bring your NoteBooks and it'd be best if you wear some clothes that you don't mind potentially getting dirty under your program robes. You never know what may happen when tinkering around with this stuff. 

ROTATION 2: CASE FILE

This past weekend a primarily pureblood wizarding neighborhood in Chelsea, suffered an explosive attack that is believed to be the handiwork of the the anti-pureblood group known as the New Blood Order. There were several fatalities and injuries, and while the New Blood Order is the prime suspect of the attack, various departments within the Ministry of Magic and St. Mungo's are hard at work in settling the chaos that this attack has brought on the neighborhood. 

Interns assigned to the case are reminded that all information associated with this case is sensitive material, and while the media does have a good amount of information from their snooping, please do not comment on any inqueries that the press may present, nor do not share any with anyone without proper clearance (employment within the Ministry or St. Mungo's). 

Evidence found at the scene of the crime is as follows: 

The main target of the bombing was a memorial statue in the center of the neighborhood of Damocles Rowle, Rowle was the Minister for Magic from 1718-1726, and was a resident of this village, he is also well known for his anti-muggle stance.

Carved into the side of a nearby home were the words, "Those truly of pure blood will rise from their shackles, as those who live in deceit will pay for their transgressions." This phrase has been used as a signature of sorts from other verified New Blood Order attacks, and it is suspected to be as such.

Witnesses around the neighborhood remember seeing a group of individuals earlier that morning at around 2a.m. Out of all the statements, the group appears to be around ten in number, and presumably they were in plainclothes. Witnesses reported that they were unable to get any good looks at the faces of these suspects, even though they remember no efforts to conceal their faces. It is suspected magic was at work here.

There is one bomb that appears to have been a "dud", it has been taken back to the Department of Magical Technologies for further investigation. 

There were several areas throughout the neighborhood where bombs were successfully set off, but given the level of damage that occurred, it is suspected that both magic and muggle technology was used. It is suggested that only healing and diagnostic spells are to be used at the scene of the crime. Any other sort of magic may trigger any left over artifacts from the explosives.

Intern Evaluation: Joaquin Portico

Weaknesses of Intern: Definitely a lot cheerier than my other inten, bless her, but I still think he could have upped up the cheery notch some more. Here at Ministry Munchies, we pride ourselves on service with a smile and love in our heart. That means even after five hours on the register, we're still as bright and outgoing as we were hour one. 

Strengths of Intern: He helped me cook! And I think he might have enjoyed himself a little too, so extra fudge brownie points there. 

Intern Evaluation: Phoebe Pratchett

Weaknesses of Intern: Definitely needs some work on her people skills. Also smiling, gosh oh golly I don't know how many times I told that girl to smile. She just needs to remember that a smile can do so much more than a scowl. Smiles brighten people's day, scowls make someone want to throw their pumpkin patch latte on you. 

Strengths of Intern: She was a quick learner on the ins and outs of the various coffee machines and always kept up on the cooling and warming charms. Never once did I see the tea get cold unless someone ordered it that way. 

Intern Evaluation: Octavius Pratchett

Weaknesses of Intern: Not nearly quick enough for my standards, but I suppose my standards are pretty high compared to most. This is the welcome desk though, and quick is how we must do things. 

Strengths of Intern: He was a rather friendly fellow, though he could use a good little push to get him out of his shell a bit more. He was also a fairly good listener, there were only a couple instances where I needed to repeat myself. 

Intern Evaluation: Nadin Chaudhry

Weaknesses of Intern: N/A

Strengths of Intern: Mr. Chaudhry helped out a great deal in the ward. He seemed to get along with all of the patient's he interacted with, and it was nice to see someone interacting with Rowan for a while. 

Intern Evaluation: Briar Valdin

Weaknesses of Intern: N/A

Strengths of Intern: Mx. Valdin was incredibly friendly to our patients. Xe has an incredibly bright and warming personality, which had a nice positive effect on patients. 

Intern Evaluation: Violetta Nott

Weaknesses of Intern: None to report. 

Strengths of Intern: I certainly admired the initiative that Ms. Nott and her companions took on in interacting with the ward patients. Making the patients cookies was certainly not anything to be expected of them, and yet they still went that extra step.

Intern Evaluation: Milo Ryan

Weaknesses of Intern: Nothing too drastic to report, he seemed a bit nervous at the start of it all, but he seemed to pick it up swiftly.

Strengths of Intern:  I must say, I was hesitant to allow a stranger take care of my kids, but Mr. Ryan did an exemplary job in handling them, my kids were thrilled with him. If he wasn’t so occupied as an intern, I would consider stealing him away, Mr. Ashwinder. Would certainly save me the trouble of finding another nanny.

Intern Evaluation: Adrian Locke

Weaknesses of Intern: I must say, the patient histories filed by Mr. Locke were a touch lacking, but then again I didn't expect him to have much experience with writing up medical histories. 

Strengths of Intern: However, regardless of that fact, the patient histories were not the worst I've yet to come across. Mr. Locke also interacted pleasantly with patients, and I didn't hear nor witness anything too drastic happen in the lobby, save perhaps for a delightful case of digested fluids being spewed across the lobby and Mr. Lannister.
