Been out for 14 years, so happy most people in life have accepted the true me. It's rough, being a gay man in the South, can't be all that open in public, but we're slowly getting better

I'm only 32 (in 13 days), but I remember how common hating on us openly was. But thanks to decades of blood, sweat, and tears (and Hillary Duff), those same people I saw as a kid, aren't passing them into /their\ kids
