I'm pretty proud of this shot!

There is a drainage ditch/rain reservoir in the apartment complex. Bear in mind this place is built to handle hurricane levels of weather.. Last week over 10 inches of rain fell, and this guy has wandered up to the drainage ditch. It's a great place if you are an alligator, it's down a steep slope so he won't be bothered, there are briers and blackberries growing on each side, so he's safe, and there is a cool pipe that goes under the road to the other side where he has deeper water and more trees.

This little man is celebrating his Hatch Day today! 25 years young, and still as spunky as ever! Here's hoping to another 25!
