I have consider a lot of God's as love interests including Nyx (Yes female love interest), Erebus and Thanatos. Thanatos especially because he is my absolute fave Greek God next to Hades. I have also thought of Pan but Hermes is basically Pan.

Zephyr is not a Greek God that anyone would know in passing. He isn't an Olympian but He also isnt any of the other Gods that are well established or always mentioned.

The first time I heard of him is through the story of Eros and Psyche where he helped Psyche cross the cliff to the Mansion where his 'monster husband' lives. The other time is about the story of Hyacinthus who He fell inlove with along with Apollo. Hyacinthus chose Apollo and this incited jealousy from Zephyr that he killed Hyacinthus.

Hi!! Thank You for noticing!! When I first designed the Gods, I was kind of thinking on the usual Human like designs we see on animated series. However, I am also a fan of Creepypasta so I wanted the Gods to look humanoid x Cryptid. I want them to be more uncanny, something familiar but unrecognizable at the same time on what something human should be.

I didn't put mouths because in this verse the Gods speak in a higher dimension, it is telepathy so to speak but the deeper explanation is that they are beings of higher dimension and they dont really need to eat either. In their truest form, they have no need of mouths. They also have no Pupils as they perceive the world in a different way than humans. So what I am posting rn are the Gods in their truest form.

The LI I am most excited about is Zephyr. From how I know him, He is mentioned in one tale where he was Wooing a guy named Hyacinthus I believe and his rival was Apollo. Unfortunately for him, the dude chose Apollo so he blew a stray gust of wind to redirect a discus (Which is kinda like a freesbie) to hit Hyacinthus.

I had to take a lil break from Hermes and draw Dionysus. He is one of the Deities that are quite fun to research about! When I first learned about him in highschool, we were quite perplexed as Almost all of the Olympians have really important Domain and he is basically an Alcoholic God. Now, the more I look into him, the more fascinating his history and mythos is.

He is much more complex than we initially thought he is. Wine aside, he is the God of ritual madness and religious ecstasy. This is so interesting especially since he just seemed to be very much like a party guy.

It’s not just mythology to some people. It’s our religion. And this is incredibly disrespectful.

The Greek Mythology has been something that is already used and taken inspiration from by multiple literature both games, animated and even TV series. The same goes with Christianity. Not only that, multiple cultures and religion are also taken inspiration from just as much, The Shinto Gods, Hindu. Egyptian, Philippine Mythos, Norse mythos and more. I am simply having my own interpretations and artistic liberty with it.

That being said, I made sure to make a lot of research on the Gods that I feature as well as the actual culture they are from. This includes learning the history of their religion, the primary sources, actual significance in their way of life as well as the epics that features them. This is to make sure that their personalities closely resemble to how they are described and that they wouldn't be too modernized. My research will not be perfect but I do not take it likely even when I am within my rights to have artistic liberties on a well known source material.

About the Yandere Whore commentary, Thank you for bringing it up.

Part of the things i considered when I started this project is that I wanted it to be well established in their romance how these Gods do not have 'love' on the mc in a human sense. Its very close to possessiveness, a very well known Yandere trait. Its why I deliberately chose the Gods who does exhibits some of these traits one way or another except for Hermes. Apollo, Zephyr and Dionysus have stories and History that in one perspective, can be Yandere. It is a popular trope that I adore and I understand that it is not everyone's Palette.

If this is about their outfits, I made sure it is pretty close to the source material I took inspo to. I used the Mycanean and Minoan Greek outfits as my inspiration. Reality is, they have minimum clothing. My version of their outfits are actually much more reserved in a sense. However, I can see how that would be seen. The outfits itself are not final and are still subject for updates. I will still be designing them with their historical fits in mind.

If its their poses, I don't think they are that raunchy considering many statues have worse poses. For me as an artist, I just wanted to give them a more dynamic poses because I didn't like the runaway model reference poses that I see in pinterest. Its that simple.

The thing with Hermes is that he is one of the most fascinating God there is in the mythos. He have so much influence and is present in almost any adventure of greek heroes yet I can't seem to find much representation of him in media outside of being just a side character. Thats fine if only he was fully fleshed out. I wanted more Hermes content so I thought having him as one of my main Love Interest would be so fun and exciting! Epic the Musical also helped giving me so much inspiration on how I wanted him to be.

The Concept of Gods has always been fascinating to me.

I have such love for Horror, Mythology and Romance. I want to create something that thread the lines between all.
