You often get on Spinel’s head just to make sure you don’t get stepped on

So you may or may not have tricked Spinel into coming along by saying you were getting donuts.

since the bean is somewhat nervous about your family and barely talks to you about meeting them-

let’s say things didn’t go well.

Your father(You May change it if you wish) was...skeptical? How does one date a rock?

(Spinel offended by the term rock)

Your mother(again you may change it if you wish) was about as confused as your father(or any adult).

So watching the game, as tradition with most families, was really awkward since Spinel wasn’t sure why everyone was screeching about who won a touchdown-

You having to explain that your family watches the game to cheer on who wins despite the actual team not hearing it.

Your father(or adult figure) asked what team did Spinel support.

She was...confused. Mainly since she didn’t see the exact reason sports existed. But, being the prankster she is, (and wanting a bit of chaos) she casually says the other team.

Let’s just say a couple of arguments happened.

But now the most awkward part; dinner.

Since gems don’t really need to eat(and since Spinel will only eat sugar 24/7), Spinel was just sitting next to you as you ate.

She asked why the heck humans celebrates this holiday?

“So, humans celebrate this because....-“

“Because we fricked up when it came to the pilgrims-“

Your sibling just gave you a look of confusion and said because they made terms with pilgrims.

Cue a long talk about betrayal(and Spinel relating more than ever).

You were sleeping until someone walked into your room.

That someone was Spinel-

“SPINEL I NEED TO SLEEP-”

“...? What’s sleep...?”

You gave Spinel a long stare. 

She was giving You a curious stare.

After explaining to Spinel what sleep was, she was excited and asked You to teach her how to sleep.

You, of course, agreed.

You told her that to sleep she needs to close her eyes.

Spinel is rather difficult at teaching her to sleep.

Though after a while, she muttered it was boring and started to eat donuts.

You hummed as you wandered around Little Homeworld, the sun bathing the town from above. You were a (F/C) Aquamarine, a short but highly intelligent gem. It’s been many months since a certain battle between a gem and, the new diamond, Steven. Word had gotten around fast that the gem was now under the other diamonds’ protection and you wondered how that could’ve happen.

But that’s just a silly thought, isn’t it?

You hurried along, wanting too get in the sights of this world. You lived here for so long but each sight feels as new as the first time! As you walked along however, you spotted a pink gem. A stranger at first glance.

The gem gave you a unreadable expression that sent shivers down your spine. Within a heartbeat, she went up to you with a widened smile.

“Uh, h-hey there!” The pink gem said. They seemed a bit nice so you greeted them as well.
