On top is the original logo design by Vivid Ways. On the bottom is Oddinnovation click here to see the website it came from! THEFT!
On top in Moon Brand's 1996 identity for the Royal Parks. Below Villa dos Inglezes so called logo. If you change the colours and Text underneath of a design is that enough to make it your own? I think this is THEFT!
I was so shocked when I saw this! On top is a photo by Linda Penders photography and below is Topshop's Topman T-shirt including her image! My friend has this t-shirt and You can clearly she on Pender's website that the photo is her own. Even Topshop steals design!
On top is the logo of Sustainable UF's logo, a University in Florida, made in 2008. Yet below is an image of logo that Eddie Bauer made in 2010 for Enviro Temp. The logo Bauer made is exactly the same as the Sustainable UF but just flipped horizontally. He even used almost identical colouring too. This is clear theft!

The I heart New York logo has been interpreted in soooooooooo many ways! Are the few of many above seen as inspiration or are they in fact theft?
Original web design by Charlie Gentle, UK. Very similar web design by Adam Schroeder from The Art Institute, San Diego, CA. Do you think this is theft or inspiration? I'm stuck on this one! Both very alike but slightly different...
On top is an image of Jeff Beckman's work and below is a screen grab of the account from 'DaleSaurus'. He took Beckman's image without authorisation and made money by selling Beckman's image on t-shirts. The only modification was the deletion of Beckman's signature. THEFT!
Original image on left made by bradley sharp. The very similar design on the right was made by Mike Krisza who won a competition with this design and got a nice $1000 prize. Do you think this is theft?
The image on the left is of the 1984 debut album of a classic US punk band called 'Minor Threat's. The image on the right is of Nike's Skateboarding 'Major Threat' 2005 East Coast Tour. As you can see there is a massive similarities between the two designs, is this theft through Graphic Design?

IS FACEBOOK THEFT?
Is identity theft possible through facebook?
What would a criminal gain from this site?
I thought I would look into the potential risk of security to people using facebook. In May 2008 the BBC NEWS made a fictional profile and made an app for the website they said
'We wrote an evil data mining application called Miner, which, if we wanted, could masquerade as a game, a test, or a joke of the day. It took us less than three hours. But whatever it looks like, in the background, it is collecting personal details, and those of the users' friends, and e-mailing them out of Facebook, to our inbox.'
When you click 'Allow' before you play on that silly facebook game are you allowing others to access your personal information?
It does say in very small writing at the bottom there 'By proceeding, you agree to Adult Swim Games Arcades's Terms of Service and Privacy policy - report app'.
And if you have too much time on your hands and you actually read the terms your find that yes your person information is in danger.
a few quotes from the Adult Swim Games Arcades's Privacy policy:
'In addition, we may transfer personally identifiable information about you if we, or one of our business units, are acquired by, sold to, or merged with another entity.'
'.Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed'.
'A representative list of the types of non-personally identifiable information we may collect include: current Internet protocol address and type of browser you are using (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using, (e.g., Microsoft Windows or Mac OS), the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., Comcast, Verizon or AT&T), the web pages you have visited, sites visited before and after you visit a site on the Turner Network, the type of handheld or mobile device used to view the site (e.g., iPhone, Blackberry), location information'.
It all comes down to whether our privacy is fair. Is it fair that if this company got brought, our details gained from that application are therefore the new owner's property also? Is it fair that they can access our location and see the web pages we have visited recently?
Is it fair that innocent young children are faced with fraud when they simply just want to play on a game?
I personally think this is theft!
