There are layers to this. Earlier in the episode, Xena discovers her secret while they're sharing a locker room. A woman she has got naked with turned out to be trans. It's the exact scenario terfs are always fear-mongering about, but Xena just shrugs it off.

Also, the kiss was a big deal not just because it was gay but because the trans actress was HIV positive. They wanted to show the world that you can't contract HIV just from kissing someone. Bear in mind, the AIDS crisis was still fresh on people's minds in the 90s.

SNRI's for sure and perhaps some Buspirone as a treat. Maybe some Hydroxyzine for when he can't sleep.

(Obligatory disclaimer that this is not meant to be medical advice & all of this would be heavily dependent upon blood work results & the like, but he's not real and this is just a hypothetical scenario)

My vote is sticking with SSRIs, but doing more of a multi-modal medication regimen. Depending on how much anxiety he has I'm going to say either Zoloft or Paxil. If the anxiety is higher, then do the Paxil. I also wanna slap him on either Naltrexone or Campral depending on medical history. Also maybe want to toss in some Mirtazapine and/or a low dose of Remeron or Trazodone. I'm no doctor but I'd be a little weary of putting a PTSD patient w/ AUD on SNRIs due to the concerns with autonomic arousal and noradrenergic effects.

If you’re lactose intolerant you can eat nuts and if you’re allergic to oranges, most other fruits have vitamin c. If fruits aren’t an option, there’s also vitamin c supplements.

If you’re taking estrogen make sure to also eat foods with vitamin D because your body needs that to process the calcium. Oily fish, fortified milk/yogurt/cereals, and eggs are a good source.
