I wanted to paint different frog life stages, so here’s the life cycle of a red eyed tree frog, I guess?

today's funky frog of the day: tradouw's mountain toad (Capensibufo tradouwi)!!!!! delightfully small, these frogs live in south africa. they are currently at risk due to habitat loss.

today's funky frog of the day: the giant rain frog (Breviceps gibbosus)!!!! they're the most common and largest type of rain frog, and are also known as the cape rain frog! they live in south africa.

today's funky frog of the day: the smoky jungle frog (Leptodactylus pentadactylus)!!!!!!!!! they live in many south american countries. the males are slightly larger than the females. i like them!

today's funky frog of the day: the black-spotted sticky frog (Kalophrynus pleurostigma)!!! i let out a gasp when i saw this round and delightful friend! they can live in the pitchers of carnivorous plants.
