So far from the charity pins, we raised $400 and donated it to the Ukraine Army today (see receipt.)

It is a direct payment to the National Bank of Ukraine's fund for their army. See the Vice Prime Minister's Tweet for source.

And as promised, I created a spreadsheet that links to all receipts for total transparency for these donations from these Nonprofit Ukraine Moto Helmet pins.

The Ghost of Kyiv clear matte vinyl stickers have arrived!

This is an original design that I did of the urban legend (or at least unconfirmed) of the Ghost of Kyiv ace fighter pilot that is rumored to down several Russian military planes over Ukraine.

ALL PROCEEDS will be going to support Ukraine in their crisis right now.

I am so worried and sad for the people of Ukraine but at the same time I am so inspired by their bravery and unity.

REDESIGNED GHOST OF KYIV ACE FIGHTER PILOT CLEAR VINYL STICKER FOR CHARITY

Top/1st photo is the new redesign of an ace fighter pilot emblem for the Ghost of Kyiv.

Middle/2nd photo is the first try, old design.

Last/3rd photo is a picture of one of the older flags for the City of Kyiv.

Okay, so I scrapped my previous design because I didn't like it. It had too much going on. I knew a couple of things that I wanted to do. I wanted it to be circular, I wanted to incorporate a modern look with the pilot helmet gear, I wanted to incorporate the Archangel Michael that is feature on Kyiv's flag, and also the Ukrainian coat of arms.

And it took me a while and a short break to get there, but I like my new design. He has the archangel wings, the modern pilot gear, the red scarf/cape with a cross pin to mimic the cross shield, the colors, and the Ukrainian coat of arms.

Anyways, I also order 3" x 2.66" clear vinyl stickers of it for charity/all proceeds to Ukraine or UNHCR.

They’ve arrived and they’re super cute!

So, I just wanted to say that I have been seeing people who are selling stuff in “support” of Ukraine but for profit or partial profit which... Feels gross to me because they’re being opportunistic of a war...  What was that? War profiteering? Which is why other countries dislike western countries to begin with... But I digress. 

I made these pins and many other creators made things to donate ALL PROCEEDS to this international crisis. I know that this is what I can do... Which is doodle and illustrate things... This is how I can help and not profit or be apathetic to an increasingly tragic event.

If you want stuff to show your support, buy something from someone who isn’t profiting from it and I don’t mean just me... No matter how little you spend, that’s still spending power and every bit will help those over seas in need.

I am saddened and disturbed by the current events that are unfolding in Ukraine right now and my heart goes out to them. I am often left feeling helpless in the event of some of the most tragic acts of human rights and life violation both domestically and globally. But I care and I wanted to do something about it.

This time I spent the time and resources to create, order, and put up on etsy acrylic pins of a moto/moped helmet with the Ukraine flag colors on it with all proceeds going to either the Ukraine government directly or UNHCR (UN refugee agency), choice of buyer, to give whatever gesture of support and aid that you and I can.

HAPPY NATIONAL (SUPER) CAT DAY, JAPAN!

It’s National Cat Day today in Japan, February 22, because the number 2 sounds like “nyan,” the Japanese onomatopoeia of meow. And it’s SUPER Cat Day because it’s 2022!

I painted the top helmet to match a custom mini 125cc scrambler (22) years ago and now I’ve made little acrylic helmet pins!

I created some moto-themed vinyl stickers. :3

An oldie but a goodie. I sketched out a Tiger with the idea of doing a “Triumph Tiger” (a motorcycle model) for helmet art and then painted it on two different helmets with one-shot enamel paint.
