Angels are one of the most powerful yet overlooked topics in Scripture — mentioned in nearly 300 places, with the Bible describing millions of them, yet far less attention is given to angels than to demons in today's culture.

This message explores who angels are, where they came from, and what the Bible actually says about their nature, power, and purpose — separating biblical truth from popular myths (like the idea of personal guardian angels, or angels appearing as winged babies). We'll look at the named angels — Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer — the ranks of Seraphim and Cherubim, and the major roles angels play: ministering spirits, messengers, protectors, agents of judgment, and spectators of God's work on earth. We'll close by comparing angels to mankind, and why God's plan of salvation for His children is even greater than the extraordinary nature of the angels themselves.

I'm pretty sure that symbol is nonsense. I think it's just Kaneko trying to draw an occult symbol/shape akin to those that appeal on sigils, like those of the Goetia demons. But the interesting thing is how this symbol can be different in other versions, especially as seen on the archangels in the artwork titled "Reverse Tokyo":

The one in the front here seems to be the same as the one designed for Devil Summoner; you can tell because the secondary symbol is a set of 5 stars, which the original also has on its lower vestment. Also note how the mystery symbol is approximate to the original but just ever so different, which suggests Kaneko was winging it and not copying an existing symbol. The other symbols seen on the other archangels here are equally invented.
