I have 7 dresses and most of them are not really wedding attire. But this one’ll work. Poor lighting aside, it’s a maroon, knee-length skater style dress with lacy accents. Is it comfortable? No. Did I take it off immediately after taking this pic? Yes.

Round 2 Week 8 - Looking Fancy

Well this weekly topic is extremely appropriate for the episode Sunday. It’s almost as if we’re all getting dressed up to attend a wedding. ;)

So, I don’t like dressing up… at all. I hate it with a passion. So naturally, I don’t really have too many pictures of me looking nice. 

This week’s topic is…

“Looking Classy…”

aka What would you wear to the Captain Swan wedding? (Heh, had to work hard to find a placeholder for that one that wasn’t too spoilery.) OUR OTP IS GETTING MARRIED!!!! Whether you’ve shipped them since the beanstalk or only discovered the show this season, I bet you’re as excited as I am! So, in a picture or in a few words, what would you wear to the wedding of the century? (Sorry, Kate Middleton, this fictional princess got you beat.)

Alright. I have 4 songs that remind me the most of Captain Swan. 

1.) Forever and Always by Parachute - This is the song that my WIP is based off of. The first time I heard this song was at a wedding and it was their first dance actually. Just listening to the lyrics you hear about a couple who has been through so much but still love each other so deeply that even as one of them is laying in a hospital bed on their death bed they can still show their love.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xlwpf8u4aw

As usual, I couldn’t limit myself to a short answer of only one song. So here are my top 5 Captain Swan tracks (I included pictures I took at the concerts for each song’s artist, in case you needed more clarification from last week’s post :P ):

1. Only Us - Dear Evan Hansen

“So what if it’s us, What if it’s us, And only us, And what came before won’t count anymore or matter, Can we try that?” This song, I feel, is super Captain Swan. Both have their own demons, especially the self-worth issues of the main male character, and this song is about looking past that.  2. No Good Deed- Wicked

“Let his flesh not be torn, Let his blood leave no stain, Though they beat him, Let him feel no pain, Let his bones never break, And however they try to destroy him, Let him never die…”

Listen to this song, and instead of Elphaba turning Fiyero into the Scarecrow, imagine it’s Emma turning Killian into the Dark One. You only have to change like six words for it to be perfect.

3. Hello - Lionel Richie

“Cause I wonder where you are and I wonder what you do. Are you somewhere feeling lonely? Or is someone loving you? Tell me how to win your heart, for I haven’t got a clue But let me start by saying I love you.”

This song perfectly encapsulates Season 3 Missing Year Captain Swan. 

4. Yours Alone - Valerie Miller and William Wilkerson

“What song reminds you of CS?”

When I first listened to this song all the way through, I automatically thought of Captain Swan, from both their POVs. I had been binge watching season 3, yet again, when this song came out and I was like, CAPTAIN SWAN!!

And it has really grown on me, not normally my taste in music.

“What song reminds you of CS?”

Have a no makeup and normal makeup selfie. I’m ready for winter already. Just wanna skip the whole summer deal where my makeup melts off my face after five minutes outside. Give me back my sweater weather.

Honestly I think of CS for like…. so many songs. Like all the songs. It’s a problem. If I’m not thinking canon CS, I’m thinking of all the AUs that have been and could be written about them. But I’m also not super knowledgeable about music? I just kinda… listen to whatever I come across. Lots of radio and internet radio. Lots of knowing song names but not artists. But here are a couple I like and think of CS for every time I hear them:
