Youth and children

Watching my two smallest cousins tonight. I can’t help but feel so blessed and happy to watch them grow into the independent, intelligent and beautiful little girls. Wanting children badly for my husband and I, I can’t help but feel furious with the select few who say, “don’t have kids! Waste of time! I have no time for me, or my husband” Am I wrong when I say, having a loving and supportive husband who I wake up each and everyday with a prayer to say ‘thank you for him’ why wouldn’t i want to start expending our family? Coming from a woman who is coming to terms with depression, anxiety, OCD, and insomnia I worry I won’t have ‘the family’ I see in my dreams. Dreams still come true, right? It’s a hard, and uphill battle, but if it means being a mother and to still be the light in my husbands eyes, yes I want that!
