Released in February 2011, the Galaxy S2 was Samsung’s first real sales hit. It was one of the most iconic designs that Samsung ever put out, but the steady pace of tech evolution relegated it to the dustbin of the mobile industry.

Fortunately for the precious few users that still rock a Galaxy S2, the folks in the CyanogenMod community are not in the habit of giving up on capable phones, no matter how old and out of fashion they are.

CyanogenMod 13 nightlies are now available for download for the international Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100), bringing users the option to try out Marshmallow on their venerable device.

The base Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a flat 5.1" screen, no curved option. The Galaxy S7 edge will have a bigger 5.5" screen and there won't be a flat-screened S7 of that size. The big-screened device, the Galaxy S7+, will have a 6" screen and will be the only one to have two screen options.

And it folds. 

Microsoft just introduced its first-ever laptop on Tuesday, called Surface Book.

It's the fastest 13-inch laptop ever created, and it's two times faster than Apple's MacBook Pro, according to Microsoft.

Like the MBP, the Surface Book tops out at 1TB storage and 16GB of RAM, but it’ll cost you; the base configuration of 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM starts at $1,500, while a fully loaded Surface Book runs north of $3,000. Preorders begin on October 7, and ships on October 26th.

The 9.7-inch model that I left with is not only a fantastic looking device with its 2048 x 1536 Super AMOLED display, it’s also the most powerful tablet that Samsung has ever built. By including the Exynos 5433 processor, which you might recognize from the Note 4, Samsung was certain that it could solve the biggest issue with the Tab S: speed.

There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera that takes perfectly adequate photos and a 2.1-megapixel camera on the front for the lunatics who want to take selfies with a tablet. Rounding out the specs are 3GB of RAM, a 5870 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor.

The Korean company has just unveiled a full-sized QWERTY keyboard for smartphones and tablets that rolls up into a stick for storage and portability.

‘Rolly Keyboard’ — yup, that’s the name LG that has given it — is a little smaller than a regular-size keyboard; each key is 17mm, as opposed to the standard 18mm. Powered by a single AAA battery, it uses Bluetooth to connect with a device. LG claims it can last for around three months before running out of juice.
