When you’re being called to change your perspective
When things are moving slow or not happening. Things feel delayed or stagnant, just blocked.
Recognize that you’re being kept in a hangman state. You’re being called to change your perspective.
This is important because until you change your perspective you can’t change your behavior. At least not in the way that is needed to bring positive change into your life.
ASK YOURSELF SOME QUESTIONS
What beliefs am I holding onto that no longer serve me?
What beliefs have I upheld for a long period of time? Just ask yourself.
Am I holding onto people, places or things that I should have long ago released?
Generally it’s beliefs that have not served you in a positive way. You’ve just been holding onto them for so long.
Say you’re a cheater. You cheat on all your partners, you’ve always cheated. You don’t see anything wrong with cheating. Except you don’t recognize or want to acknowledge that your cheating has had unfavorable results attached to it. Maybe you’ve lost out on potentially great partners or friendships.
So, you would need to change your belief system around this long held idea.
Move forward with the new belief and monitor and see how things change. Things should change, not immediately but over time. Let’s say 6months-1yr
Say you watch Shera Seven and you have for many years, hardcore follower for 10+ years.
You believe that you will get a provider or rich husband, yet you’ve never actually come close to getting this said person.
So, your belief is actually keeping you from getting what you truly desire.
This belief hasn’t served you, and possibly has lead you to undesirable situations.
You would need to change your belief around this idea. That a rich husband will magically show up into your life because you go sit at bars, and scout men out.
You have an older sibling, this older sibling has always put you down.
You know that you should cut this relationship off, but you feel guilty, and you feel like you could never actually get away from this sibling.
You could get away from this sibling that projects their negative feelings onto you and bullies you.
You would need strength, fortitude and willpower to enforce your boundaries but it could be done. If you really want to do it.
These are just some general examples.
Most often we don’t recognize how something as small as a belief can have such a profound effect on life, and how it can limit us day-to-day.
Change doesn’t magically happen, you need to invoke change to improve your life.
If you don’t do anything differently today than you did yesterday or last week. You life is going to keep going in that same track.
You make change, and monitor.
See what the results of that decision to change something is bringing forth, all changes bring forth some kind of measurable result.
A reminder, you will be tested by the universe or God, to see if you’re serious and you really mean it. If you fall back, and mess up. You will just be delayed is all, the chance to rectify will come again in the future.
