"You are needed. You have been training for this your whole life & though you didn't know you did not come unprepared. All that you need to know is inside of you."

Why are these chicken breasts fighting?
"A Mayfly lifespan is 24 hours. On a cloudy day, Joe Mayfly says to Tom "Hey you ever heard of 'sunshine' or this stuff 'wind'? Tom replies "you're talking foolery that stuff doesn't exist when have you ever seen it?." They grow old that day & die. The next day it's sunny & windy. You see folks those things exist although Joe & Tom didn't get a chance to see that it does. Let that one soak in for a minute b4 moving on."

"Hiking is walking with purpose, there is an end goal but that's not why people go thru all the trouble of reaching the trail's end. This is how having a purpose in life sub-consciously changes the way one looks at everything around them in life. Wanna go on a hike?"

The Knowledge Of The Past & Who Shaped It
Thruout history, when 1 civilization takes over another’s territory, the 1st steps they do to ingratiate themselves over the conquered people is to destroy their culture. Well what would that mean you ask? They destroy their ancient writings of religion, public records, genealogy records, places of worship, reliefs, temples, everything that represents that people’s ideology & both mental & physical treasures deemed sacred &/or priceless to them. This is now going on w/ the tactics ISIS is employing by blowing up every building of importance they are able to. Taking relics at high volumes & selling them on the black market & taking them out of their homes in museums in order to deprive us as humans of our existence in the distant past. ISIS though are not the 1st to do this, in fact, thruout the existence of mankind this has taken place. From the Babylonians destroying Jerusalem, to the Crusaders destroying middle eastern relics & monuments, to the Romans who did such to each area of the vast region they wound up conquering, the list goes on. How many times has Cairo, Egypt been taken over by a people from another country? How bout Jerusalem & everytime dating back to even Abraham taking the area from the Canaanites? The middle east in general & the great amount of different cities that would be of great archeological importance to those of us who care about human history & culture preservation that no longer exist because of mankind’s impulse to erase & eradicate other’s cultural importance of the past. In the 1970s unequivocal temples, relics & writings of Tibet were destroyed by the Chinese army. The Nazis burned any & all written records of places they went. The great libraries of the ancient past such as the one at Alexandria are gone forever. When one culture conquers another they banish their ideas, burn their books, you ban their language, not to mention the tens of millions of human lives lost thruout history. Overall, what we know & what we do not know about our history of existence here on this planet can’t be changed at this point. What the ancestors of our past have destroyed we cannot get back. We can’t prevent everytime a revolution of people decides to kill the history of another’s. But my point being is that there’s so, so many sacred items, relics, monuments, temples, buildings, reliefs, paintings, scriptures, written records, cities, & even people themselves that we’ll never get to see or get to research & analyze, but the things we do have here on Earth, let’s truly be aware of & enjoy them, study them, realize who you are in the history of this world. Let’s also understand there’s so much under the sands of Egypt, so much in the terrains thruout what once was ancient Mesopotamia that is under rock, in the jungles thruout the oriental world in Cambodia & China & such, sacred texts & statues buried in the dirts of Peru or Brazil, so much to discover in Europe’s landscape waiting to be had with the flip of a rock or satellite imaging. Let’s look to the future to stop those who are destroying the knowledge of our existence & cheers to those who are putting forth the effort to preserve our ancient items & to those who are trying to find what’s hidden for now that is of great importance to our knowledge of us as a civilization here on Earth.

Point of Origin: Gobekli Tepe and the Spiritual Matrix for the World's Cosmologies
Identifying Gobekli Tepe not only as the first university but also as the first temple, perhaps built as a civilizing exercise, Scranton definitively places this enigmatic archaeological site at the point of origin of civilization, religion, and ancient science.

A little video we all should take a moment to watch and think about.
Instead of thinking about what divides us we should think about what we have in common…
I’ve reblogged this on every account I have.
This is simplistic and intended to tug on heartstrings and all that shit but guys I really needed to see something about people not being dicks so if you needed that too please watch this.
Thanks for this, Denmark.
i think maybe we could all use a little simple heartstring-tugging right about now. <3
Medication is often stigmatized and that really bothers me. I’ve taken meds on and off for years to supplement my focus and combat my anxiety. I’ve adapted because of prescriptions. None of us are weak for this, we’re simply helping our brains get the chemicals they need to function better.
