Sometimes we give people too much power over us just by loving them, because we love them the way we should love ourselves. It'll hurt, but when you fall down instead of looking to see who will pick you up, be strong enough to pick yourself up. Everything you need is within you, don't ever put the responsibility of your happiness on someone else because once you do that, you're in trouble. Because if they decide to leave, your happiness will become something they've created that you cannot make. Be strong enough for you, love yourself. Always push forward, it's not always going to be easy but you can't lose your independence trying to make others feel important. When we fall in love we pick up mannerisms, movements, jokes, we become a whole different version of our lover and when they leave we think we miss them but really we kiss who we once were because now even in their absence they're still there.
