God is my shepherd but i keep getting lost in the candy isle

The closer my Baptism is, the worse im doing mentally, i’ve been having mood swings, i struggle a lot keeping my space in order, i feel burnt out, i dont enjoy my hobbies as much, i’ve been loosing patience with my boyfriend, i struggle taking care of myself and im still having issues with my addictions, and thats just part of it.

I feel like the enemy is trying its hardest to dissuade me from getting Baptized and is trying to pull me away from god.

The last couple weeks were especially hard mentally and physically, and today was rough for me. It’s actually the first time i’ve missed Bible study at Church since i’ve started going every week.

I’ve been trying to spend more time with my friends since i kind of disappeared and pulled away from my loved one, i still try to do things that i know will make me feel better.

I just hope and pray that things get better, that my emotional state changes positively, and that my Baptism goes well, because its something ive been excited about for so long.

Please pray for my wellbeing, and for my loved one’s, i know we’re all supposed to go through our own desert, just like Jesus did for 40 days, i just hope mine will be over soon.
