➵ An unamused smirk came from now-pursed lips, “So, you were expecting me to be a bit shorter?” He let out a slight sigh as he straightened wizard’s robes, they didn’t sit so nicely atop his usual garb. “Anyway, if there are no other questions — let’s get to the lesson,” he said as he began to open the lecture, hoping it would at least keep the students awake. 

Harry was surprised to find himself staying awake in the lecture, and it was not just because of the elf in front of him, no, there was something about the way that the man delivered the lesson that made everything stick.

At his words, Pansy paused, her eyes searching his face for any sign of mockery. Seeing none, she let out a sort of shocked sound. “You’re serious?” Now wearing her flats, Pansy stood, taking a step forward. “Well, sure, Harry. And I suppose you can begin by getting me out of here and over to Hogwarts. I need to cast a good Scourgify to get the stink of the bar off of me.

"Great. Want to apperate to Hogsmeade?" Harry lifted an eyebrow, he was entirely glad that she had said yes to letting him get to know her better. She had always eluded him at Hogwarts, and he wished to make up for lost time.

"I was indeed," Draco nodded, leading Harry into his den where he began fixing their regular drinks. "Parkinson’s back in town. I thought you might like to see her and maybe we can get Zabini and Nott, perhaps even Daphne over. For old time’s sake."

"That sounds great. It would be like old times..." Harry smiled, his hands in his pockets. "Do you know what Parkinson's been up to? I have not been able to get word on her since Hogwarts, unlike the others."

"Will do." Harry replied. The first year was rather excited to get started. He could hardly wait for dinner to come and go.

Lily nodded back at him, “Will do, Potter. I think I’m fine now.” She hesitated for a moment, thinking for a sufficient last name, “Uh, Lily Luna…Porter.” Ah, the joys of changing one letter.

"Nice meeting you, Porter, do take care." Harry took off at that moment, not looking back again.

Ginny put her hand on the cheek that Harry kissed. Her cheeks started to turn scarlet as she thought. She liked him, of course, she wants to date him. But she was afraid that her family would scare him off, that happened to Bill’s first girlfriend. Fred and George’s fireworks accidentally went loose and she ran out of the Burrow screaming. Ginny smiled and grabbed his hand. She nodded. “But you’ve got to be prepared if fireworks go off when you meet my family. It’s happened before, more than once to be honest.” she said.

"Fireworks? Sounds like something that the twins would do." Harry let out a chuckle. "No worries, it's not going to scare me off. I get on well with most of your brothers, and I am certain that your parents will not mind me... I hope..." Harry rubbed the back of his neck, hoping that to be the case.

After the war, Narcissa hadn’t exactly made amends with Potter after she’d lied to save his life.  But now, things were different.  ”Well, then.  Could I interest you in a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider?”

"Hot chocolate would be nice, thank you." He bowed politely as he thanked her.

"You could put glue at the end of the hall and then have a bucket of feathers hanging in the ceiling that could tip over?"

"I like that. Why have I never pranked people with you sooner?"

Tying with someone was worse than losing since it did not allow Draco the opportunity to gloat his superiority over the loser; still he had to admit he was impressed with Harry’s running ability. He took a deep breath, “nice one Potter, it seems I will not be able to rid myself of you easily,” he shot a playful smirk at the other boy as he got into the nearest boat. 

"Not easily, no." Harry smiled at the other. He was growing rather fond of his new friend, there were aspects about him that were somewhat similar to Dudely, but he was kind.

Girlfriend Application

Luna hummed happily as she followed Harry. She skipped a bit as they went too, glad to be going on a date with him, something she’d wanted for a while now.

Harry let out a chuckle as he watched her skipping, kissing her cheek. He thought that everything about her was rather adorable.
