JAMES HOOK || LOOKS TWENTY EIGHT || PIRATE || TAKEN
"You know all you belong to me. Come on, we should get it going. Survival of the fittest. Lose and you will answer to me; the ruler and the killer, baby." — ✖
A lazy smile and dangerous eyes; his looks alone demanded the utmost respect from those around him. He held himself with pride and he knew just as well as anyone, that he was a machine devised for one reason, and that was to be feared by all. However, James wasn’t always the captain of his own ship. In fact, he couldn’t get respect from a sewer rat had he even tried. He was a child of a whore, born out of wedlock and not even worth a second glance. James had been beaten down, degraded, and violated in ways too sadistic to speak of, and so he kept them private and let the memory of them hurt him instead.
An act of kindness was never tossed his way, nor did he expect it from anyone. He wasn’t waiting for the world to cut him some slack, and he knew if he wanted to make something of himself, he would have to do it all on his own, and that’s exactly what he set off to achieve. From a stowaway, to a cabin boy, and to the highest position he could attain at the time, a sailmaker. But all that changed when they set sail from Tortuga. A most peculiar thing had happened; the waters were eerily still, and hypnotic voices filled the air. That was first time James had ever encountered a mermaid.
While all the other members of the crew were being lured out to the dark tides, James had blocked out the dulcet sounds emitting from the briny deep. He had locked up whatever crew member he could get his hands on; being in their tranced state, they could only comply. That was the only act of heroism James had ever partaken, however it was hardly a selfless action; he knew one man could not sail a ship on his own. His performance only angered the sirens of the sea, and after that, all he could remember was a great storm coming towards them.
As you’ve guessed, James found himself in Neverland and became captain due to saving the crew. And not so long after, he was the infamous Captain Hook. When Peter left, he took Hook’s grudge along with him. The captain had averted his eyes on larger matters and that was to attain the life source of the island, pixie dust. Although, that didn’t mean that he couldn’t have his entertainment until he found what he was looking for; an odious game of slicing and dicing little preys. Something about the misfortune of others had always granted him with great delight. With Pan back, Hook was almost tempted to reveal the identity of a certain bird —Red Handed Jill as she requested to be called— but Hook had decided to keep that information to himself until the opportune moment showed itself.
