"Lies!" The younger of the two claimed, even going as far as to let out a small hiss as he did so. “If that was true, than I would’ve made it by now yet from the looks of it, it’s anything but!” Throwing his hands out in the air for a moment, Duke then found himself sighing before he slumped against the chair with a pout. Maybe for Slightly it was easy for him to fake things until he made it— and by looking at things, his brother sure had indeed made it with his latest song going viral with thousands of views and streams. Heck, the blonde even had a cute girlfriend who seemed to be completely obsessed by him and from the looks of it, his brother was as equally obsessed with her too. But then again, Slightly was talented, so of course he would eventually go viral, and girls always liked him so none of that was new. But for Duke? While he can’t say he hasn’t been faking it to a certain degree, he was starting to get tired of it lately. Especially when it wasn’t amounting to anything. "Maybe I’m just bad at faking it like I am with everything else.”

Immediately and out of instincts, Mei began to sing out loud along to it. A few people gave her a quick stare as she passed them by, but the redhead paid them no mind, losing herself within the lyrics and sound of the song. "A '70s dream in an '80s vest. Hepburn, Beyoncé, Marilyn, Massive, Girl, you're timeless, Just so classic~” She sang, twirling around as she swung the door opened to the cafe. Right away, she spot the owner’s cat by the window and of course Mei had to make her way to him and give Mochi a quick scratch behind the ear as she continued to sing along to her song. And the entire time she’s doing that, the redhead was none the wiser to the fact that Prilla wasn’t waiting for her inside the cafe at all. Instead, someone else was sitting at their usual table, and it took Mei finishing with her petting session and twirling back towards her intended direction for her to realize. “You're one of a kind, livin' in a world gone plastic, Baby, you're so classic, Baby, you're so classi—WHA” Cutting herself off, Mei’s eyes widen. “Uh- you’re not Prilla!” ( @slightlyconceited )

She mentally prayed that luck would be on her side this time and the person who she’ll have the share the studio with wouldn’t be there yet. And if they weren’t, maybe they would forget they booked a room today and wouldn’t come in at all, leaving Angel to have the studio completely for herself. But she was never that lucky. As the elevator came to a stop, the brunette once again let out a sigh and walked down the hall filled with various studios, Taking a quick glance at each of the rooms, she could see the silhouettes of the people who were inside them, only to find herself frowning a bit with jealousy at the fact that none of them are being forced to share as she passed them by. She then made it to her room, and as she unlocked the door, her shoulders relaxed with relief when no one else was inside. Good, she was the first one here. Flipping the lights on, Angel dropped her bag against the floor. What she loved about this particular studio space was that it was perfect for anyone who was here to practice their music or dancing— or both—as the acoustics of this room was the best. Of course, for her, she was here to dance. After doing a quick warm up to get her blood flowing and her body relaxing, she pulled out a CD from her bag, the brunette then made her way towards the stereo and plopped the CD inside of it. With that, Angel began dancing, loosing herself within her routine to notice when the doorway into the studio had opened. ( @slightlyconceited )

“Meh,” With a shrug, the brunette turned to look at the blonde with a neutral look upon his face, eyes maneuvering up and down, before he continued with his words “I’ve seen sexier.” Is what Benji ended up saying. And it was true, while Slightly was arguably very attractive in the eyes of others and he had no shortage of finding people who were into him, in the eyes of Benji, it was a completely different story. Even among the Lost Boys, he wouldn’t classify his brother as one of the sexiest (and no, he wasn’t saying that to go off and call himself sexier, though if he did, he would find delight in pushing another one of Sly’s buttons). Which is why with that in mind, he then half-smirked at him. “You ain’t even the sexiest among the rest of us.” 

Fresh air was exactly what Slightly needed. Even with him leaning most of his weight against her and her much smaller stature, the brunette merely kept her hold against his arm as the two walked down the block, away from the apartment and the still lively party— Fawn could see the bits of color that was appearing back on his flushed face. The only thing that has yet to change, on the other hand, was the miserable look he sported, whatever it is that had happened to him tonight, really did a number on him, causing her to wonder if all this was just about some guy or if there was more to it. Hell, she didn’t know if the guy she had seen Slightly kiss was the reason for all this, as kissing someone at a party didn’t have to equal as something romantic as people likes to kiss other people at parties just for the sake of wanting to kiss and make out.

Michael had no shame to admit that there was a pout on his face when Slightly began laughing at him. He didn’t come to his friend to be laughed at, especially when admitting that he was bothered by the fact that he actually let Tink kiss him. Now, if it wasn’t for the fact that he had invited Mabel to this party as his date, than the kiss wouldn’t have been much of a big deal to Michael. Heck, rationally, he knows it isn’t a big deal even now when Tink even offered to wingwoman for him once he mentioned wanting to be kissed by someone other than her. But the youngest Darling couldn’t help but feel kinda guilty just ‘cause what if Mabel found out? What if she thought he was stringing her along when that wasn’t Michael’s intentions in the first place? What even was his intentions with her because he sure still didn’t even know! That’s why he was hoping that maybe Slightly could give him some advice, and yet what he got in return was being laughed at. Still pouting, the younger of the two waited until his friend calmed down before he finally saying something about all this. But what Michael didn’t expect was for his friend to say how both he and Tink ended up kissing the same guy— this causing the brunette’s eyes to widen with shock. “Wait? You and Tink both like the same guy and you two kissed him?” Michael repeated, looking at Slightly with confusion. “When did this happen? No, wait, when did Tink started liking someone else? I thought it was Peter she was into and it for sure couldn’t have been him you kissed because we all know she likes him and you probably would’ve been dead by now if you had….?” 

Fawn didn’t know the full detail on what was going on between Tink and Slightly. All she could tell was that in one instance, they both were enjoying themselves and doing their own things. Hell, Fawn’s pretty sure she even saw Slightly kiss some guy earlier which had been a sight to see but not one she felt needed to be commented on until much later so she could tease the heck out of him. Plus she saw Tink getting all cozy with some other guy herself at some random corner of the apartment, pretty sure she ended up kissing him too, and then the next she knew, the both Tink and Slightly seemed to be avoiding each other and weren’t in the highest of spirits anymore. And now that Fawn thought about it, the guys looked eerily the same. Maybe he was? Fawn might need to go and ask Tink about it for a bit, however her blonde friend was nowhere in site which caused Fawn to think that maybe she went outside for a moment— take a breather. Didn’t sound like a bad idea, and so making her way towards the front, the brunette ended up bumping into someone. Stumbling back, it turned out it was Slightly who Fawn had ran into and seeing the kicked puppy look that was still very much on his face, she frowned. “Mood still not lifted yet?” she asked, now also seeing that his cheeks looked very much flushed like he has been drinking quite a lot this entire time. “Was about to go out— maybe take a little walk?” She commented, and right off the bat her words did it’s trick and Slightly asked if she could take him with her. Tink is the one she should be looking for, but Slightly was her friend too and so, the brunette nodded with a small smile. “Come on.” Fawn took his arm, already starting to pull him along. “Let’s go for a walk.” She could always go find Tink later.  ( @slightlyconceited )
