The empty set. A place Boxer both loved and hated.
The only reason heās here was due to Red forgetting some of her notes. She was busy, but insisted on coming back for them. Boxer, ever the gentleman though volunteered to grab the necessary papers while she stayed at her flat. He didnāt mind though. In fact, the walk here was good for him. At least, thatās what he convinced himself.
Looking around the place, he made his way to the stage. The echoes of his footsteps trailed behind him as he finally got backstage, and towards the dressing room.Ā
He wasnāt expecting someone else to be here though, catching himself a little off-guard as he saw a figure standing at the door entrance to the room. He stood there for a second, and watched the person.Ā The cloud white hair is what first caught his attention.
Waitā¦white hair? Now why did that seem to ring a bell? That was one of Redās friends, right? What was his name again? Oh yeah!Ā
Walking up behind the teenager, Boxer gently taps him on the shoulder.
āHey, Kid.ā He says with hesitation, hoping his assumption of the boyās name was correct. Boxerās tall figure loomed over the other. āIf youāre looking for Red, she isnāt here.ā
The tap on the shoulder makes him fumble his small wrench he was putting away. Heās to used to people approaching him, let alone touch him. He does manage to catch the wrench before it would cause an echoing clang on the ground upon impact. He places the tool in itās case before turning around to view the man who spoke out his name.
He was a tall fella that one. Built strong too. Kid does perk up at the mention of Redās name. āYeah, Unfortunately I quickly found that out when I got here. Itās okay though. I had maintenance work to do āround here anyhow.ā He does a small shrug. Sure he was hopeful he would be there during his shifts at the open set, but her not being there wasnāt the end of the world. He wipes his hands on his shirt and offers it to the man for a hand shake. āYāall must be that Boxer fella Red talks so much about. Itās real nice ta finally meet chāya! Iām Kid, though I guess you already knew that? Unless ya were just calling me a kid like some adults do ta youngins. Either way, it works out for me.ā
