Making her way through the night, Red was traveling towards her next destination. It feels like she had been walking forever, but she can’t stop until she finds a safe place to stay.
It’s darker than usual outside; the only thing stopping her vision from going completely black is a lone dim light pole a little bit further down the path. She’s not used to walking outside at night without the glimmering lights of the city leading her way, but that doesn’t mean she could stop. Being lost at night was way too dangerous to just halt all plans, especially when you didn’t know what was out there.
But she could feel her legs about close to giving out, so they stop for a second to recuperate. Maybe they can come up with a different plan in the meantime, something that’s better than this.
Red looks around trying to assess the situation they’ve managed to put themselves in, and it seems that she has the all clear to keep going again. That is until the neon-blue glow of the sword lights up, it’s hue flickering to the words of the voice inside it.
“Watch it. I think someone’s following us.”

Dante traveled across the rooftops watching the woman for while. Her destination seemed to be leading her back to his office, which The Devil Hunter didn’t find that unusual; if someone was wandering this side of town at this time of night they were most likely looking for him, whether they knew it or not.
He stopped when she did and smirked to himself when he saw the sword glow in the night.
Demon.
He jumped down from the perch he on and landed with a thud on his feet near the stranger and her sword. “This is not the type of place for a stranger to be wandering at night, even one brandishing a Devil Arm. Can I help you, miss?”
He tone was cool and casual as always. “You look sort of distressed.”
Red jumps at the voice, and swings her sword in the direction of the man. She means no harm, but she definitely wasn't expecting someone to just appear out of nowhere. Moving back a little to give herself some space from the stranger, Red settles herself and processes the words said.
He was right, no matter what strength she had it really wasn’t safe to be out at night. Especially when there seemed to be people like him running about. No offense, of course.
“Devil- what now?” The sword answered.
Her thoughts exactly. The man was obviously addressing her, but unfortunately she couldn’t speak. Thankfully, her weapon in crime was always willing to step in. Whether be it for good or bad.
“Yes, we-- or rather, she needs some help.” The sword speaks with a little urgency in it’s voice. “We’re looking for a place to stay. At least, for the night. Do you know of any places nearby?”
