An absolutely legend passed away today. I know I’m mostly known for doing miraculous ladybug but if it weren’t for this man and all his work I probably wouldn’t have grown up loving superheroes the way that I did. Rest in Peace Kevin Conroy and I hope you know how much you meant to us🙏🏽

Made time for this. Kevin Conroy was one of my favorite influences. The comic is a reference to the episode Beware the Gray Ghost, in which Batman needs the help of an actor he admired as a child to solve a crime. Batman: “As a kid, I used to watch you with my father. The Gray Ghost was my hero. “

RIP Kevin Conroy. You will always be my Batman.

I hope people understand how iconic and important Kevin Conroy's Batman was. Every interpretation of the character after BTAS, every animated show and every live action film -they've all been directly affected by Kevin's performance. The iconic "default Batman voice" you most likely think of in your head whenever the character comes up was probably coined by him. Evey actor on the big screen that has played the character was essentially doing a Kevin Conroy impression. Conroy wasn't just a voice actor, he was an openly queer man, a talented performer, and really, he WAS Batman. And he would keep reprising his lore up until rather recently. He never stopped offering his voice to him. I really hope his talent is remembered and appreciated.

Sorry i’ve been so absent from this blog! with the batman lego movie there’s been a huge surge of new fandom members and fandom drama. I’m glad people are liking the lego version of batman and joker’s relationship but i wish the hype would die down a little so we can get back to the way the fandom was. Exploring different versions of their relationship without having immature people sending nasty messages to anyone who doesn’t agree with it.

Anyway, i hope to get back and be more active on this blog and enjoy batjokes once again!!
