Sunlight Protection - Very important, not all Vampire burn but most get sunburnt way more often than mortals do. If you can invest in UV-blocking fabrics and blackout curtains for your lair. Along of course with hats, sunglasses and cover-ups. Darling, you never really see me at the pool anymore, has the sun gotten hotter or is it just me?

Feeding Etiquette - Again not all Vampires feed but if you do always obtain explicit consent when possible, or feed on willing participants to avoid unwanted hunters, you don't want to cause a witch-hunt so to speak. But that's only if you don't enjoy the taste of animal blood, most feeders drink the animal kind.

Ah as a young vampire myself, if you aren’t aware of your biological parents or were born before records were kept the best way to do it are the new DNA tests. They will automatically put you in the family tree your DNA belongs in. Fortunately my family has kept my genealogy and since I was bitten when I was young my mother urged me to keep all my information in my journal just in case.
