If you adamantly refuse to even hear an opinion or point of view that differs from the one you've been taught to believe, you don't actually believe the one you've been taught. A genuine conviction doesn't waver from something as flimsy as mere exposure to disagreeing ideas. If you fear that hearing an idea that deviates from the "right" ones might make you accidentally adapt it, get the two confused and forget which one was the "right" and which one was the "wrong" idea, and get rejected by your peers by accidentally echoing the wrong kind of thoughts, you don't actually truly think that the things you've been taught as right are right.
Not because you would somehow deep down secretly think that the "wrong" ideas are "right" and the "right" ideas are "wrong", but because you simply do not actually think at all.
Reporting to the FTC
A full step by step guide, if you or someone you know is owed a refund by Milo Winter and the World of Gardian LLC.
Only make a report if you yourself are owed a refund. If you are not owed a refund, please refrain from reporting and instead let others know of their options.
Individual reports may not guarantee a refund, but they may open and investigation and secure a settlement if enough people come together.
Before you start the report, gather the following:
Order confirmation (order number, date, and amount paid)
Screenshots of the February 20th cancellation
Screenshots of any communication about the refund queue (emails as well, if you emailed them to ask for an update)
Marketing materials showing that a book was the product being sold along with the bookmarks
Business name: World of Gardian LLC

How to report:
Go to reportfraud.ftc.gov
In the top right corner, click “report now”
On the next page, click “online shopping,” then click “A problem with an online purchase or sale”
Fill out the Report details page, including how much you spent, when you paid, and the name of the company and individual (World of Gardian LLC, Milo Winter).
Do not ignore the comment box. When filling it out, you want to include:
That you preordered a book, not just a bookmark, with documentation of that intent
That a bookmark was shipped as a platform workaround
That the second edition was cancelled February 20th
That no refund has been issued despite four months passing
That a refund queue exists but has produced nothing
The approximate total you're owed
Upload any supporting documents you have, including screenshots gathered beforehand.
Enter your contact info. They may not follow up on an individual basis, it’s more for record keeping.

i do find the rules around clothes fascinating because of how made up it all is. we invented the idea of covering our bodies from the elements because we lack fur like other mammals and then made up all these rules around it and now people will unironically tell you "men cant wear skirts its unnatural" girl none of this is natural. we are born naked and made up the rest as we went along. hope this helps.

if you're bored and want to do something simple but fulfilling I recommend wikisource's proofread of the month. you can help public domain works be transcribed to be more accessible for everyone! even just validating a few pages helps a lot and there's a bunch of simple guides on the site.
I think the harm of denying people the right to control their own bodies is so, so much worse than the risk of people regretting the decisions they make. Regretting something you decided to do is a much healthier pain than the pain of regretting that you didn't get to have a choice.
