The top 8 places where I had my unforgettable experiences and with the use of my phone all the memories that are captured will always remain.

Movenpick Hotel and Resort Cebu

It is a 5-star hotel that has a private white sand beach and is located in Punta Engaño, Mactan, Cebu. It is formerly known as Hilton Hotel and Spa and before the name was changed my uncle was already one of the resident here, actually this place has also condominium units where they stayed when they visit here in the country every thrice a year and It served as my second home. This place taught me a lot of things and one of those things is to be able to swim by the use of their pool and beach, but with the span of 13 years of living, my uncle had just already sold the unit and eventhough we do not already own the place but still the memories lives.

Giussepe Mactan

An Italian restaurant that was usually located at Banilad, Cebu but now they have a branch near the Movenpick, Mactan, Cebu. This place serves Italian food and drinks where we usually have our dinner such as pizza, pasta, imported ham, wine, ice cream and many more. The Italian owner of this place is one of the friend of my uncle and sometimes he visits my uncle in Europe.

Arterra Residence at Discovery Bay

The place where my uncle was staying after he sold his condominium unit. It is located at the last part of Punta, Engaño, Mactan, Cebu. This place is own by the Sta. Lucia Land and Property Developer. The price of the rooms and foods of this hotel is cheap than the usual price of other hotels. This hotel was built at the very end of the developed place and when my uncle is in Cebu I usually spend my night right after school in the room where he checks in.

Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort

This place is located near Arterra, Mactan, Cebu and this place is a Thailand hotel and spa. This place has the biggest pool in Cebu. They cater bed and breakfast, lunch buffet, dinner buffet, wine buffet and they also have a specialized thai restaurant located at the second floor. It is where my uncle usually have their breakfast and dinner because it is just near from the place where they stay. The staffs and the security guards of the hotel are very accommodating and the food quality is one of the best.

Anjo World Theme Park

This amusement park is located in Minglanilla. It is one of the trending places in social media. Rides includes Golden Carousel, Mr. CupSpace Shuttle, London Taxi, Viking, Tower Drop, Hip Hop, Anjo Eye, Rollercoaster, Snow world and many more. You can already have an unlimited ride for Php. 400+ and if you want to get inside the Snow world it cost another Php 200.00. I already had my experience last sembreak with my uncle and with his friends.

Solea Mactan Cebu Resort

This place is located at Juan Wahing Street, Cordova, Cebu. This hotel has one of the widest lot in Cebu and it also has a lot of swimming pools. It is where we spend our time drinking cocktails and smoothies before we will be eating our dinner. The manager of the place is one of the great friends of my uncle and when they visit the place sometimes they will get to talk to him.

Shangri-La Hotels and Resort Mactan

This place is located in Mactan, Cebu. Sometimes we visit this place to have lunch and dinner buffet. We also visit their lounge and bar known as Cowrie Cove where we wait for the sun to set while We're drinking cocktails and beers.

Sentral Bar & Lounge and League Sports Bar

We all have that excruciating boring times and you just wanna do something to kill the boredom away. One of these is playing music to dance your heart away! So, to spice up your life, maybe my top 10 "Jammin" songs could be added in your playlist?

10. Dance Monkey by Tones and I

With the unique vocals and super vibing beats, you just couldnt help and sway your body to the music. Also the piano instrumentals are pleasing to hear. Who knows? Dance Monkey will surely bring your inner dancing talent.

9. Love Talk (eng ver) by WayV

As soon as the C-pop group WayV released their english single entitled "Love Talk", i instantly fell in love with it! Its a mixture of 90's r&b and modern trap music. I love how the song is incorporated with two different music genres and come up with a slightly "sexy and smooth" vibe music. Its enough to move your hips and follow its rhythm.

8. Love by DEAN

"Da da da da da da da da~" the first part of the lyrics will instantly make your head bop. With catchy beats will surely make you fall in love again and again and again! "I know! I know! I know!"

7. Say So by Doja Cat

I gotta admit, I knew this song through tiktok. It became a viral sensation where people dance to this and making it really a good jammin song! The beats and rhythm makes my whole body move. Should I make a tiktok of it? (naaaaaaah i dont think so 😂)

6. Stangers in A Dream by Phum Viphurit

Urghhh! Alternative/Indie music? Just my type 😩👌. I love the sound of the electric guitar and bass that fills in my ears. The lyrics? PERFECTION! Phum is really a great artist! Im speechless! Go take a listen and you'll be the judge but Im warning you. Once you hear it, you'll jam with it!

5. Regular (eng ver) by NCT 127

And in comes my kpop fangirling mode! NCT 127's title track Regular can make you go "Dinero, peso, yen, lo quero I want it"! The latin, pop and dance vibes is enough to make me belt out the lyrics and dance around. "vvs my diamonds I don't need no light to shine!" It also brings out my classy rich self??? I don't know, thats just how I jam.

4. Up to you by PRETTYMUCH ft. NCT Dream

This song is super unique and cute! Its a mixture of english lyrics and korean but has a very cute message. Its all about a boy who is willing to do anything for the girl they like. This pop music makes you jump up and down and fall in love with sweet and sugary lyrics 💕

3. Umpah Umpah by Red Velvet

This cute and catchy kpop song by Red Velvet makes it on the third place! The electronic beats and captivating vocals can make you sing "Umpah! Umpah!"

2. Lover Boy by Phum Viphurit

Another indie music on the list!!!! The instrumentals get you on moving and grooving. The sweet lyrics is also a plus point! "Call me Lover boy~"

1. Don't Start Now by Dua Lipa

"Aren't you the guy who?" seems familiar? Yes! Its Dua Lipa's hit song "Don't Start Now"! This song can make dance series of movements but who cares? Its a good jamming song!

Dao WaterFalls in Samboan, Cebu Philippines By Kirk Abad.

Dao waterfalls is one of the most memorable experience in my life, not just because it was a great spot to go swimming, but because of the moments that was happening during this adventure. One of the core things that makes this adventure very exciting is because my family is in it, I mean every moment of my life that is considered “best” is that they are always a part of it, or they are there when it is happening. Going swimming in this waterfall is not easy, you have to actually walk a long way to go swimming in the beautiful swimming spot. The exciting part in this adventure is when my eyeglasses fall down in the water during the long walk to the falls, I was scared that i didn’t told my parents about what just happened, luckily i found it and i have never been more relief in my life.

The path that you will have to walk to the waterfall is actually treacherous because the land is slippery, there’s like a lot of water so it is risky if you have things that will be broken if being put on water, like cellphones, tablets and camera and then there’s this path where you have to hold on to this tiny rocks for support because if you don’t you will fall to the depths of unknown. But trust me, when you reach the destination, it is worth-it. 

When we were done swimming, we actually have to go back and go through the same difficult and tiring path, but it was fun.
