Discipline is probably my biggest problem to date. I don't hate it; I appreciate it and want to do it, but I am a naturally lazy person, so I end up disregarding it. Today's message at church was all about spiritual disciplines, and through it God really spoke out to me. It's about time I make a change in my life. Already?! 🙉 I felt like it was only last night that I wrote my 2014 year-ender post on Tumblr, and now here I am, writing the 2015 one here. It’s been an awesome year, I must admit. I’ve grown in more ways than one- physically, emotionally, creatively, spiritually. I’ve learned to see the good in everything instead of exhausting myself in complaining about the bad; I’ve learned that it’s okay to cry, that it’s okay to channel all the heartache through tears. I’ve learned to treasure what really matters, and to treasure myself above other things- I’ve learned to find my self-worth and not to depend on others for it. I’ve learned not to give up on others, not to be negative about the situation, but I’ve also learned how to be firm and to stand my ground, regardless of what they might think, as long as it’s for the greater good. And lastly, I’ve learned how to live, and not just exist; and it turns out that for me to live, I must forget myself and let God do His job. The moment I let go was the moment I started living, and I have no regrets. So with that, I bid 2015 goodbye and welcome 2016 with open arms (and a new arsenal of weapons of mass creation 😉)! Happy new year, everyone! Love y'all! God bless us all!

2015 had lots of trials for me, lots of "I wanna give up, but I can't cuz I'm not allowed to, why is life so unfair just kill me now please thank you very much" moments, but God is great because here I am, thanking Him for those moments. Why? Because those moments built me up and me stronger, tougher. The way fire does to gold. And now I'm holding on to this promise, that all this is part of something greater, something better.
