Day 1: Hello August. I got new ink for my dip pen so I obviously had to use it immediately. Such a soft pretty blue.

Day 31: poppy. This ink color is so fun. Just wait for the shimmer at the end. It was a bit thick so I really had to work to get it off the nib but if I wanted to I'm sure I could add a few drops of water next time.

Day 21: lavender. Should I tape my paper down? Probably! But I like to move the paper as I write to get the perfect angle and that would slow me down. My ADHD has no patience for things like that. 😝 Anyone else not a big fan of the smell of lavender? Sometimes I think I'm the only one but it's just too herbal for me. Could be my sensory issues...

Day 25: black as night. The most unforgiving color ink I own. It also dries glossy which is not fun to photograph when you just want a high contrast deep black. I did todays practice with walnut ink and I just wish there was a black that worked like it... does that make sense to anyone?
