New York Public Library Animates its Stereograph Collection
Check it out! A few years ago, blogger Joshua Heineman (heh) started making .gifs from the NYPL collection of over 40, 000 stereographs. This "Reaching for the Out of Reach" project was picked up by the digital research organ NYPL Labs, who established 'Stereogranimator - a total animation overhaul.
Asen Nenov speaks on behalf of a Bulgaria-based research project who've discovered that various species of algae can be harvested and easily converted into biofuel. According to wikipedia, "an area the size of a two car garage than a football field of soybeans, because almost the entire algal organism can use sunlight to produce lipids, or oil.[8]"

There aren't many things I love(d) more than really badly organized shows with kind of silly pits in them. Almost as much as really ridiculous pits that start off fierce and end up with blood on my shirt.

Proficient in image collection; bottle rocket manufacturing, installation and locating, palate training, wardrobe supervision, and animal watching.
Goals:
- Write and illustrate a children's book called The Little Parasite That Got Away about fleeing the social system. Set in a landscape made from close-up plants with white-out pen illustration.
- Join a tribe of horseback riding nomads. - Marry a man with a voice like a steel guitar and to travel through warm climates singing duets and getting paid beer per tear. - Draw a series of portraits of ugly twelve year old girls, then project them strategically onto walls directly opposite apartment windows. (Or this) - Build a hall of mirrors with elabourate lighting using taxidermied reptiles injected with ink, mammal skulls, glitter glue, witches' finger crystal, phosphorous, and millions of cut up photos of Marlene Dietrich, Bela Lugosi and that lady who plays the mom in My So-Called Life. - Have a solo in a gospel choir. Have the gospel choir be in Blues Brothers. - Do something to this girl. Something mean but not, like, upsetting mean. A kind of a goofy prank. Just to let off some steam. Like tease her hair a whole bunch and trap some mice in it. Frickin tellin me about how to get a job....Job this. JOB MY JOBS, LADY.
