Henry Darger

“Untitled (Idyllic Landscape with Children)” (detail), Henry Darger
A brilliant artist, hidden from the world in the guise of a lonely janitor, Henry Darger has become internationally known and is represented in major museums throughout the world.
Darger spent most of his life living alone as a recluse in a rented room while working as a janitor in Chicago.
His landlord, cleaning out Darger’s rooms after his death, made a startling discovery: alone in his room, Darger had created hundreds of beautiful, large paintings illustrating an epic fairytale he had written over 60 years.

Vivian GirlsxHenry Danger Crossover (crack edit)
Throwing a slumber party at the Vivian Girls' apartment in Swellview was a great way to hide Charlotte, Schwoz, and Jasper from the evil Glandelinian crime lords who trafficked children and terrorized the town, coupled with the fact they'd have to roll themselves in old carpets found in the basement. (What? No snacks? What kind of party is this?)
Poor Jas. Some of the Vivian Girls had to laugh at him. Wonder why.
