yknow, i don’t think kit being mad at ty is inherently a bad thing. like considering his need to be useful & kind of… pushover tendencies with people he cares about, him being able to hold a grudge against someone he was previously unable to seriously argue with until the literal last moment is a good thing actually. what i’m more concerned about is what kit will be mad about.

my ideal ‘cc said kit was mad’ revolves around kit being angry that ty put him in the position where he had to choose between helping ty or going against him, in a volatile space where kit had lost everything and was living with ty & his entire family and really didn’t have the space/confidence/ability due to trauma to speak up and was also experiencing horrific new life changes ie dad dying in front of him, the cohort, the riders of mannan, etc.

like ty would’ve absolutely done the necromancy even if kit wouldn’t have gone along with it, and what would’ve happened then? either kit goes to an adult (have you met johnny. would never happen) and ty gets pissed at him, ty does necromancy and kit is aware of it but does nothing and ty dies or does something that breaks the world because it’s forbidden or people find out that ty did necromancy and he’s prosecuted by the clave etc etc. like there’s no real good option that doesn’t end with ‘ty realizes doing necromancy is bad maybe’.

What is Ty’s favorite subject at the Scholomance? Will we eventually see him graduate from their/finish his thesis by the end of TWP?

Ty doesn't so much have subjects as the Scholomance offers self-directed study, which is great for Ty. We do find out some of the things he's interested in school-wise in LKOF and projects he's been working on with Anush etc. I'm pretty sure however that no theses will get written during TWP. And the Scholomance might have to cancel commencement. Which would be tragic if they had a really good guest speaker. I can see Ragnor complaining that he had to call in so many favors to get Gandalf or whatever.

As for whether Ty ever graduates, I cannot say!

I wonder how much Kit, Ty and Ash interact in TLKOF considering these are the two bits we have confirmed. Also, Ash interacting w Livvy. Like what happens with them?? Do they meet up at the end and that's why they interact more in tlpoh? Also, where in the book then does THIS line come in?

My first thought with this line is that it's more beginning to middle of the book, but I guess it could also make sense for it to be near the end, because we know Ash calls Kit "Christopher" until Kit corrects him, so they must have already interacted, right? Do they come together and then get separated again??

Idkk I wanna know how much our main characters are together 😭

I am not crazy, the description of Kit's eyes keeps changing. Julian describes them as light blue, Kieran as the color of the ordinary sky (which I assumed is also light blue), but Emma later on describes them as very dark blue (Chapter 25)? It's either a lack of consistency or the shade of them changing.

I was walking today and I was illuminated: They stop at a restaurant at the beginning of their road trip. Ty goes to take some napkins from the next table because they have none. Meanwhile, Kit takes the menu and puts a hand in his pocket. Then he takes it out and in his hand is... a pair of reading glasses. Kit puts it on just as Ty turns around. He sees Kit, his hair a mess after hours in the car. He is frowning as if the menu has personally offended him and his reading glasses have slipped to his nose. Ty faints.
