Based on what we know so far of the plot, I think it's likely that Max’s appearance will probably have something to do with Ragnor as it has been confirmed that they will be working on translating the prophecy. I think one of their translations session will be shown in one of the interstitials Cassie mentioned.

am I the only one who thinks these dark forces might be the Princes of Hell? and it might be tied to how Ty, who has researched them was able to figure out why Kit can fire James’ gun, who was only able to do it due to his tie to the Princes in the first place?

If you could go back and change something small from your old books what would you change and why?
For the twentieth anniversary edition of City of Bones, I did go back and change small details. Mostly nobody has flip phones or DVD players any more, and there are lines I changed that I don't think work now. But changing anything really major isn't possible as all those things have ripple effects down through all the books. Also I bet the things I'd probably change are not something anyone else is interested in!
I don't get this. TMI takes place in 2008. It's not like it's ambiguous. It is flat out stated in the text so why change what they would have had at that period of time? Also, it's not like flip phones and DVD players have disappeared. They may not be has common place anymore but people do still have them. I'm sure there are people that still have VHS players as well. I just don't understand why being able to tell what time period a book was written in is bad.

I thought that was weird too but I don’t think it is going to be from the last prince of hell. To me it doesn’t make sense to release promotional art for the second book in the series when the first book hasn’t even come out. I think Cassie just may be trying to keep us in suspense.

Okay so in the beginning, I may be remembering something wrong bc I read TDA over 6 year ago, and I just started re-read of Lady Midnight but...
We don't know if Ty did saw Livvy and Kit kiss, right? (That actuall question I don't know if I didn't miss smthg) But it suggested that he could. And what if he did? Like your friend who you have a crush on kiss your sister, then when she died he confess his love to you. Like I really belive that Ty all this time could have in mind that Kit and Livvy may like eatch other, so how confused he have to be when suddenly Kit confess to him. Idk about you but I would though that he just miss girl he like and he unconsciously projects his feelings on me or conffess to me to stop me from doing dark magic, not that he like me, but becouse he's scared of consequences. (which Ty know is bad!) And that's why he (PARTLY) "reject" Kit (besides the obvious).
Also we know that Kit and Livvy agreed that 'yeah that kiss was one time thing nothing else' but Ty doesn't know about it, may I add, that was last Kit-Livvy interaction and mind you nor Kit nor Livvy wasn't 100% sure what going on with their relationship after that kiss (again they needed to claryfy it was only a one time kiss).
From what I recall it was around the time TDA was published that someone asked Cassie if Ty had seen the two of them kiss and she confirmed that Ty did. So while some things Cassie says can change I don't think that would be one of them as it is about an event that already happened.

I don't get people who come from the tv show to the books. They don't understand anything.
Arthur Blackthorn theory
I think Arthur Blackthorn is behind the spell that makes Dru forget about Ash all the time.
In her last Q&A, Cassie revealed that:
“We do certainly find out something pretty major Arthur did without anyone knowing”
We know that Arthur suffered at the hands of the faerie and that by his recollection it was because his brother fell into a love spell with a faerie... so what if he, once he got custody of his nephews, put some protective magic in them so that they would never suffer the same? And what if the protecting magic put in Dru is making her forget Ash because due to her interest and connection with him, forgetting him is the only way she is truly "protected"?
While I get where your coming from, if that was the case shouldn't Julian and Emma forget about him as well? If it was a spell placed on all of them, why is Dru the only one effected?

I know you can’t say too much about your book but I was curious about Ty’s scars. How long have they been there, and do they have something to do with his visit to Kit? And furthermore does Kit find out and how does he react? Again I know you can’t say too much, but I am just so curious and am anticipating this book so bad! The scars have been there in some form from the time before the book started. They actually are getting worse. I can't tell you if Kit finds out or what he does, though! I guess it depends on if he ever sees Ty with his shirt off.
Guysss, crazy comparison but Dru and Clary stucked in Fearie is literally the Blackthorn brothers 2.0 where Arthur Blackthorn was tortured and Andrew Blackthorn was falling in love.

With Dru’s animosity towards Paige it makes me wonder what she thinks of Ty’s friendship with Anush as he was a member of the cohort as well. Is she just as angry at him or is she more angry at Paige due to the Blackthorn family’s previous history with her? Are there other kids at the academy that were part of the cohort? Is Paige the only one in her class so Dru lashes out of her as the most convenient target or is she like that with everyone else as well?

honestly as much as it might make sense narratively i hope we don't get to a point where ty would have to choose between kit and livvy. actually i want a full autonomy for livvy. i want her to express her wishes and be happy and i don't want her to just be a catalyst to kit and ty's conflict i would absolutely hate if her arc would go in that direction
Given the fact that we know Livvy has a POV I can’t see her not have autonomy concerning what happens to her. Regardless of what the final outcome of her arc is I believe it will come down to Livvy’s choice. The choice she was not given when Ty decided to raise her. Whether that means she wants to be brought back fully or pass on.
I was reading Better in Black and I was surprise when baby Ash showed his black wing bc according to Gotsm he got his wings in Thule, right?
I mean it could be an inconsistency but the thing you have to take in account is that Thule!Sebastian and Janus are biased. They have no way to know if Ash has grown his wings before as they have not been around him his entire life. We have not had Ash’s pov to know if he has been aware of his wings his entire life or not. It is very possible that Ash chose to hid them because he didn’t want his powers to be taken advantage of but had no choice in that scenario if he wanted to live.
