My friend Ethan has suffered abuse from his parents since he came out as transgender, and it’s only gotten worse since he turned 18. He’s 19 now, and today his parents have once again beaten him and have kicked him out of their house. No belongings, no food, no hotel for the night, none of his medication that he needs to survive, and no money.

Ethan is unemployed and he has no healthcare, and he hasn’t eaten since yesterday. I’m sending him to my parent’s house where I’m going to pick him up and take him back to my apartment. However, I’m struggling financially and cannot afford to sustain him or his trip here.

The trip here is only approximately an hour and 7 minutes, but because it’s so late at night, the buses have no more stops until tomorrow at 5:45 AM. What would’ve been approximately $11 (tonight) is now $51 because he has to get a motel to sleep and shower. I’m trying to get him here by Wednesday night.

I’ve tallied up the expenses it’ll take to get him here, just in case I’m not able to until Wednesday:
