Felicity had been wondering around their pack environment for a few days now, but their in depth conversations hadn’t exactly hit an all time high. In fact, there was pretty much only one or two conversations under their belt. With things getting chaotic around here, and all the new faces popping up, it probably wasn’t much of a surprise. And with that, he got himself comfortable on the bench as she found herself beside him, her voice the only sound he was focusing on as he drained away the sound of his fellow wolves.

A light laugh escaped his lips as his head turned to face the blonde. “That’s putting it lightly, love. I’m about ready to knock them all out, just for some peace and quiet. Not all of us have time for this fighting. Day jobs and all that.” Mason responded as he took the rest of his life into consideration. With a job as demanding as being a firefighter, he had to ensure he had breaks between that part of his life, and this one. Which overall, didn’t leave a lot of room for time-outs.

Most of the wolves in the pack showed her a level of respect, throwing around titles and doing everything short of bowing outright. It never failed to make her raise her eyebrows. So when the wolf leaned back against the bench and called her love, she couldn't help but smile at his antics. 

"Even if you didn't have day jobs, I'm not sure you wouldn't want to knock them out," she said, "people are on edge. Even I wasn't expecting the numbers that came here."

It was true. The pack's request for help had come at an opportune time. The last thing the town needed was a wolf war. Especially after all the damage Esther and the threat of being hybrids had done. Turning to the wolf she looked at him. 

"So tell me, who would you pick to lead the pack? Who do you think can and will take over?"
