July 17th, 2026. Friday. || I DID SO MUCH!!!!

WHEW! I really locked in today. I worked from 7am to 9pm, just sitting at my desk and taking really occasional breaks for a few minutes. Not sure how I was able to accomplish that. But, really happy I did! Now I'm significantly caught up on school!!! :D

What I accomplished:

Studied the entire week 4 of biostats

Studied the entire week 5 of biostats

Completed about 50 questions for problem set 2 biostats

Completed about 50 questions for biostats midterm

Just came back from a vacation in the middle of nowhere, heres some of the pictures I got of the night sky :)

guys. go read supergirl woman of tomorrow. that was TRANSCENDENT. i am a comics kind of guy, and i LOVE the dc universe, so i can say with confidence that this is some of dc's best work in recent years. i'm just so moved. thematically perfect, visually stunning, and narratively well done... you don't even need to know anything about dc, except maybe that krypton exploded and superman's name is kal. it's a life changing read, genuinely. gets into the messiness of human emotion and how one might try to balance things like anger and a will to do good. read it guys. oh my god. that was beautiful.

today's schedule:

-get to page 68 in the happiness trap

-laundryyyyy. ughhhh

-reading corner, which i have neglected more than once lmao

-9 from the nine worlds. i've had it for years, because as a kid i bought every single thing rick riordan had written, and i want to get it off my shelf. something i won't be particularly invested in (it's a collection of magnus chase short stories, and while i LOVE magnus chase, i've never been particularly swayed by pieces like these) is a good palette cleanser after having finished something as life changing as supergirl woman of tomorrow

-write a song!!!

-work on my fic. nearly done this chapter. i keep fluctuating between wow this is awesome!!! and wow this sucks!!! but at the end of the day i just need to get it done, and it can suck or be awesome later. i want this chapter OVER and OUT

-work on the show i'm doing with a friend, i'll expand on some character ideas today

-advent work (this is that poem i've been grappling with)

-advent piece (this will likely be a piece of jewellery)

When everyone at home is asleep, but I'm still up studying

Saturday 18 July

📍Utrecht. Netherlands

Yesterday I turned 21! In order to celebrate properly I studied ancient Greek in the morning and later went to the Speelklok Museum. I had a nice little birthday dinner and tomorrow I am going to The Hague with a new guy I met at the café in Amsterdam! I am very blessed to have this experience. The weather is chilli outside which I truly enjoyed.
