                  “Thea, does it look like I’m doing anything?” he asked simply while gesturing to his surroundings that clearly implied he was in the middle of doing jack all and hadn’t planned on leaving the couch for a few more days at least. “What’s going on?”

”Right-- uh...nothing, just...I’m not really good at this,” she admitted surprisingly, both to herself and probably Bishop, “Wanna watch t.v. or something? Just....not think for a minute?” Because she was beginning to think too much about everything and couldn’t keep up anymore. So she needed a place that didn’t feel like Clark’s absence or her brother’s departure or the emptiness of a home filled with nothing. And for some reason she knew Bishop could relate. At least tv let them pretend they were present whilst staring off, instead of thinking about everything else. .

“I think I can do that for you. Thrown in a punch or two.”

”You can tell him it’s from Thea and if he hadn’t been such a little bitch about training he’d have seen that coming.”

          “Dude, isn’t that why I came to you in the first place – to, you know, figure that out?”

“Anything…everything. The basics, I guess.”

“What? I don’t know. I wasn’t telling you so you could fix it, I just started talking and you started listening and now here we are. I don’t know how I ordered the smallest possible cap and gown size and it still swallows me, but I did. The hat fits at least.”

“Could be because you’re stunted. You know...just a possibility. Can’t you have someone fix it or whatever the fuck people do to make things shorter.”

                  “I said hand me the tools to so I can fix the vehicle, not dive fucking deep and do it yourself —- this is why we always butt heads.”

“Or you could’ve just brought the fuckin’ tool box along with you. Here-” she said, handing it to him while rolling her eyes.

                “All I needed was a hand standing up.”
