Finished reading The Dream of a Ridiculous Man by Fyodor Dostoevsky. And this is what it did to my brain
Read 31 pages in one hour.
Spent 2 weeks reading academic papers and re-reading it to understand what just happened.
Thank you, Fyodor Dostoevsky, for the emotional and intellectual damage.
Has anyone read the Dream of a Ridiculous Man? I need to share my thoughts with someone :)
do any of you guys remember that sculpture of theseus & the minotaur that lowkey looks like theseus is riding the minotaur like his life depends on it
this one?
Is the lowkey in the room with us?
Saw this when I was in London this summer, I stopped my friend to point at it and said "holy shit it's the statue of Theseus fucking the Minotaur" in the middle of the very busy museum.
Can we talk about this bronze statue by the same sculptor :)
My review of The Outsider by Albert Camus.
3.5/5 (It was my first time reading absurdist lit. and Camus's work. I am still wrapping my head around the book and trying to make meaning of it all)
