WIZARD101 & PIRATE101 DISCORD SERVER

Some time back, we made a post when we reached 320 members - and now that the Tumblr Wizard101 community is growing, we thought we’d reach out again and invite you all to our server that just reached 2 years old!

These are some of the cool things we’ve got:

♣The server focuses on both major Kingsisle games - Wizard101 and Pirate101 - but we have channels for other things such as general talk, real life pictures, artwork, showing off your OCs, Overwatch, and a meme spam channel!

♣Monthly game/movie nights! Members of the server vote for what to play on monthly game night or what movie will be streamed. We just watched Doctor Strange together last week and it was a blast :)

♣Voice calls! They are not required, and if you want to listen without speaking, there’s a dedicated channel you can type in to communicate with people in the call

♣Birthday announcements in the #announcements channel (this is optional!)

♣Quest help in both W101 and P101

♣5 moderators constantly watch over the server to make sure rules are being followed and that everyone feels safe and welcome. Rules are listed here

♣Mod Twitch streams almost every major holiday break! We love having you guys join us both in-game and in Twitch chat

♣Safe for ALL ages! Ages of current members range from 13-27.

♣Occasional contests for things like server icon

Almost 2 years after the server was created, we have passed the 300 member mark! Thank you all so much for being amazing. We’re always looking for new people to join us in The 101Zone!

As a reminder, we are a wizard101/pirate101 discord server. You can feel free to ask for help, talk about the game, post your art that you’re working on (doesn’t have to be related to w101/p101), talk about headcanons, ocs, and more!

Our discord was made Monday, February 22nd 2016 @ 4:41:24 am (according to our history bot) by the server owner Lauren. 

Lauren’s a very nice girl who when i asked why she decided to make a discord server responded, “hahaha well i mod in another server for a different game and i was playing wizzy one day and realized i didnt have many people to talk to so i decided to make a discord so people could easily communicate and make more friends!” She even sent private messages to a lot of people to try and get them to join! Here is one of them!

After a while, the server got very busy and big. Lauren decided it was time for mods because she couldn’t be there 24/7. She put in the announcements tab that she was looking for mods and to fill out a sheet to apply. Here is the end result!

There were eight applicants in total, and Lauren chose my application first, she said who she thought should be mods and I gave her descriptions of each individual and she decided from there. Since she was new to the fandom, but not to choosing mods, I thought her judgement was better suited than mine.

From there we had our first four mods! We have Andrea, Eric, Alex, and Morgrim! We all hope to keep this server a safe place for individuals, if you don’t like the rules we attempt to uphold, you may leave. If you break the rules, you get three warnings. Once those three warnings (that we private message you with) are broken we ban you. Once you are banned from the server you most likely wont come back. 

Hello everyone! For those of you who may not know, our Wizard101 discord server has been around for about a year now! It has been quite a journey for it and all of us involved, and we’d like to invite everyone in both the Wizard101 and Pirate101 fandoms to come and join us! Click here for the link.

The discord group started out with one mod who went around asking individual people through direct messages if they’d like to join. It also started as a Wizard101 only group chat. The group was small for a day or so, but quickly exploded out into a large group that was rather active for a time. We now have a total of five mods and quite a few people who remain active, and we’ve made many changes to the server since we first started; including the addition of bots, different text channels for different topics which includes a Pirate101 channel, and even having a tumblr for our server now! We plan to make many more changes over time, and we welcome your feedback for how we can make our server even better!
