A book that is horribly written and edited. That has an adult main character who sounds like an edgy teenager and a magic system ripped right out of Fullmetal Alchemist. Except FMA is actually good. 0 stars. Worst read of the month and year. Ew.

A Hansel and Gretel retelling that gets 3.25 stars for the horror at the end. Hey authors, stop equating tattoos with evil.

Loki's Ring by: Stina Leicht

A fairy tale retelling with wonderful writing. But it's not, in my opinion, a murder mystery. That aspect felt like it vanished.

A locked room, haunted library, murder mystery, that never gets going and is just as lost as the characters. DNF at 46%

A fantastic read with Ghanaian mythology. A 5⭐read that I think everyone should have on their shelf!

2 stars for this first of a duology. Weak worldbuilding and a magic system that has no explanation combined with a mystery that is too easy to figure out and about 100 too many pages.

A teen makeup influencer dies and her best friend is trying to process her grief over it. Her brother comes back to town to be there for her. The mystery was okay, didn't go where I thought it would because it wasn't set up, in my opinion, well to. 4 ⭐

Dead Fake gets one start for an easy to spot villain, horribly written characters and refusing to actually make use of the ai in the story. Readers deserve better
